Danni turns off the car and she starts to text Rain that we've made it.

I look at Danni with worry written all on my face.

"Cousin," I say softly.

"What?" Danni asked looking up from her phone.

"I-um Z-" I get cut off by my phone vibrating.

I look at my phone irritated.

I'm just a little late, that's all, but me and my lil bro gone be there.

I leave him on read.

"Bitch, if the next words I hear out of your mouth is 'Zo can't make it' I will fucking sock the shit outta you! I ain't drive all this way for nothin-"

Danni nods her head.

"If he doesn't show, Lani... We're actually going to look at some apartments, if you don't mind!" Danni smiles going on Instagram.

I glance at her phone and she likes a picture of this boy with the username of Melo.

It's a picture of him and another guy.

After waiting thirty minutes Danni is about to pull off, but then I get a text from Zo saying he's finally here.

"Stop!" I yell.

Danni slams on the brakes.

"He's here?" Danni asked.

I nod my head.

Danni parks the car again before we both get out.

We walk inside of the mall were Zo and I said we'd meet.

"Do you have a picture of this guy?" Danni asked.

I nod my head yes.

I'm suddenly feeling a little nervous.

I unlock my phone and I look through my photo gallery.

Zo has sent me multiple pictures of himself.

"Woah, not that one!" I quickly scroll past a photo.

"Oop," Danni laughs.

I show Danni a picture of Zo and she looks at it confused.

Danni starts to shake her head no.

"No, no, no way!" Danni shakes her head.

"What?" I asked.

"Your fucking stupid! Do you not know who that is?" Danni yells at me irritated.

Why I gotta be stupid though? I think.

Since I don't answer Danni, she rolls her eyes.

"That is Lonzo mother fucking Ball!" Danni whispered.

"Lonzo Ball!" She says louder.

She starts to mutter to herself.

I can't understand what she's saying but I can hear her say ' Unless you're getting catfished too!'

Please don't let that be the case.

Danni stops talking before a hand flys over her mouth.

"What if you're actually talking to Lonzo Ball- that would mean his sixteen year old buddy is-" Danni gets cut off by someone tapping her shoulder.

I look behind her like I've seen a ghost.

I-it's him, Zo...

Danni turns around slowly and then her eyes get wide.

I can see her pinch her left arm.

"Woah, um...h-hi!" Danni says nervously.
