I am currently in my room hugging and comforting Lani as she cries.

"Lani, I know you're upset, but at the end of the day, life goes on." I say while rubbing Lani's back.

The door flies open and Lonzo and LaMelo walk into the room.

Lani sniffles and wipes her tears away.

Lonzo notices her crying and he walks over to her.

"What's wrong?" Lonzo asked lifting her chin up with his finger.

Lani looks him in the eyes and she starts crying again.

"You have to tell him," I whisper in Lani's ear.

I rub her shoulder before getting up from the bed.

"Baby, come on." I say signaling LaMelo to follow me out of the room.

He looks at me.

"I wanna st-" LaMelo starts.

"-No, come on!" I pull him out of the room by his shirt, closing the door behind me.

LaMelo smacks his lips while he sits in the living room on the couch.

"Why couldn't I stay?" LaMelo asked.

I walk over to him taking a seat in his lap.

"Because I said so," I smile at him.

He wraps an arm around me, pulling me closer to him.

"You're not the boss of me, Shawty!" LaMelo says.

I love it when he calls me Shawty, it's so fine how he says it!

"Yes I am!" I laugh.

LaMelo smacks his lips.

"What did I say?"

I shrugg my shoulders looking LaMelo in his eyes and then down at his lips.

I lean down and I kiss his lips.

Danni and LaMelo leave the room, leaving me and Lonzo alone.

Once I can stop myself from crying, I look at Lonzo.

"I have some news that you may or may not like," I start to say.

"I don't care about any news, I wanna know why you're crying!" Lonzo says.

"The reason that I am crying leads up to what I have to tell you!"

I look down at my feet as I fiddle with my thumbs.

"Lonzo, I'm pregnant." I say.

Lonzo looks at me in shock.

"You- you're what?" Lonzo asked.

"Pregnant.." I say once more.

"Okay, okay! This is okay. I just need to figure something out, how are we going to make this work?" Lonzo says.

His phone rings and he answers it.

"Shit, I'm on my way." Lonzo says into the phone.

"I'm sorry, Lani. I've got to go!" Lonzo says causing me to look him up and down.

He leaves the room calling LaMelo as he walks away.

How is he just gonna leave like that? I think to myself.
