Once Saturday rolls around, Danni is excited for her date with LaMelo.

"You have your gum and carmax right?" I asked Danni as she finishes packing her purse with everything.

Danni nods at me. "I've got everything!"

"Cool, now we wait!"

Danni and I walk to the living room.

"You look cute!" Rain says once Danni and I walk into the living room.

"Thank you!" Danni flashes Rain a bright smile.

"Where are you guys going?" Rain asked Danni.

Danni shrugs her shoulders.

"He said dress comfortably!"

While Rain and Danni talk, I go make myself presentable.

Once I return I see Danni on the couch fiddling with her fingers.

"Calm down, it's only LaMelo." I say.

"Only LaMelo?" Rain asked me. "LaMelo as in...LaMelo Ball?"

"Mabey mabey not," Danni replies.

"Little girl! When did you meet LaMelo Ball and when did y'all start talking?"

"We met about a month ago, he was at the mall when we went to L.A. looking for apartments!" Danni tells the truth, but not the whole truth.

"Hm, so he thought yo-" Rain gets cut off by the doorbell ringing twice.

"I've got it!" Danni says jumping up from the couch.

Before Danni can even take a step, Rain is sprinting to the door.

"MOVE CRACKHEAD!" Danni yells pulling Rain trying to slow her down.

"STOP HOE!" Rain yells back.

Danni runs after her and they fight to get to the door first.

Rain ends up making Danni fall, but I catch her while Rain unlocks the door and opens it.

"Hello, come in!" Rain says trying to hide the fact that she is out of breathe.

I see LaMelo look at her like 'who the fuck is this?' but then he sees me and Danni and he walks inside.

"I'm Rain!" Rain says while shaking LaMelo's hand.

"Hi I'm-" LaMelo starts but he gets cut off by Rain.

"-You're 'take this dick' Boy, I know you!" Rain says with a serious face.

I glance at Danni who has a smile on her face.

LaMelo looks at Danni clearly embarrassed.

"I- I'm sorry about that ma'am!" LaMelo apoligises to Rain.

Rain glares at LaMelo for a few seconds.

LaMelo bites his lip slightly and his cheeks turn red.

Rain starts to die laughing.

"I'm kidding, that was funny as hell. You're funny, I like you!" Rain taps LaMelo's head softly.

Rain starts walking upstairs.

"Have her back no later than eleven!" Rain says.

Danni looks at LaMelo and he looks back at her.

"Was that your mom?" He asked.

Danni giggles. "No, my older sister."

"Well," I look at my imaginary watch on my wrist.

"Time for you two lovebirds to get going!" I push them out the door.
