I look at Danni as she calls LaMelo.

"Hey, wanna come over?" Danni asked LaMelo over the phone.

"DANNI!" I yell. "THEY CAN NOT COME OVER!"

"I'm just kidding, you can't really come," Danni giggles.

I hear LaMelo talking, but I can't make out what he is saying.

"Don't worry, I'll make it up to you!" Danni smirks.

"Sounds good- okay bye!" Danni hangs up the phone.

"What happened?" I asked.

Danni looks at me smirking.

"I don't know, I think I just got asked out on a date." Danni says with a straight face.

"You know you wanna freak out, go ahead, freak out!"

Danni shakes her head no.

"I'm cool, cooler than an ice cube!"

"No you're not, you look like you're finna explode with excitement."

"I KNOW!" Danni squeals jumping all around. "IT'S LIKE MY WATTPAD STORIES ARE COMING TRUE!"

I laugh at her and she joins in, laughing as well.

"When did he ask you out?"

"Friday, after he goes to practice." Danni says.

"Where are you guys go-" I start, but I get cut off by Danielle's phone ringing.

Danni answers her phone and puts it on speaker so she can start warming up our hot dogs.

"Hello?" Danni says.

"Danielle, who is that Jamal guy who keep liking your Instagram post and commenting on them?" LaMelo asked through the phone.

"Hm, Jamal?" Danni thinks for a moment. "Jamal one of my sides from my school."

"Side hoe my ass!" LaMelo laughs. "Jamal better hop off my girls IG wit' all that!"

I chuckle at LaMelo's comment.

"Your girl?" Danni smacks her lips. "I ain't nobody property!"

I give LaMelo and Danni privacy to talk on the phone while she cooks the chilli dogs by going to our room.

I get out my phone and I see three missed calls from Lonzo.

I call him back and he answers after the fourth ring.

"Wazzup baby girl!" Lonzo says.

"Hey boo, what's up?" I hold the phone up to my ear and I turn on my television.

I turn to Ravens Home cause that's my shit.

"Nothing, I just wanted to hear your voice." Lonzo replies.

"Awe, so corney!" I say in a high pitched voice.

Lonzo laughs.

"I like your voice, it brightens up my day!"

"And your voice..." I trial off giggling a little bit. "Gives me a headache!"

"Awe, damn. That's how it is!"

"Yep," I laugh.

Lonzo and I talk on the phone until Danni calls me to dinner.
