House, Front Hall...

"What?" Craig whispered as the Doctor pulled open the flat door and the trio stepped inside.

"Oh." The Doctor muttered in realization. "Oh, of course!"

"The time engine isn't in the flat." The Doctor began to explain as the trio walked in slowly.

Inside the upstairs flat (Spaceship)

"The time engine IS the flat! Someone's attempt to build a TARDIS." Aubrielle finished, snapping her fingers quietly in realization.

"No, there's always been upstairs." Craig denied.

"Has there? Think about it!" The Doctor challenged.

"Yes." Craig replied firmly, and then he said in confusion as the flat door disappeared behind them: "No, I don't-"

"Perception filter." Aubrielle cut him off.

"It's more than a disguise. It tricks your memory." The Doctor explained further.

"Pilot"

"What did you just say?" Aubrielle whispered looking at the men next to her.

"We haven't said anything, are you alright?" The Doctor questioned, looking at her furrowed brows.

"I-I thought-" She mumbled before turning away. "Nevermind."

A gust of wind blew through the flat, the whispers speaking loudly, trying to warn the girl before them. Aubrielle furrowed her brows in confusion, quite upset that she cannot hear them clearly. She took a deep breath closing her eyes and focused on the voices before her and what they are telling her. Subconsciously, she grabbed onto the Doctor's arm for guidance as she did so.

"They are looking for the pilot."

"Pilot, why do they need a pilot?" Aubrielle questioned softly as to not be heard.

"What did you sa-" The Doctor was cut off by loud screaming from across the room. His eyes widened while Craig screamed: "Sophie!"

The trio finally spotted Sophie being pulled in towards the central console of the room by an energy force. "Sophie! Oh, my God, Sophie!"

"Craig!" Sophie whimpered as Craig ran towards her.

"It's controlling her. It's willing her to touch the activator." The Doctor says looking at the energy pulling Sophie closer. Aubrielle runs forward to pull Sophie away but she got pulled into the energy as well, making her look around in confusion.

The two men barely managed to keep the girls' hands from touching the activator, a dome-shaped button control, as Craig shouted: "It's not going to have her!"

The Doctor managed to pull out his sonic and he pointed it at the control as he desperately held onto Aubrielle and she cried out in an attempt to keep her hand away from the button. The Doctor muttered as he lowered the sonic. "Ah! Deadlock seal!"
