Prologue

My name is Lina Samuels. I'm 19 years old trying to finish my last year of high school. I came a long way to get to where I am today. I may look and act like a normal teenager, but there is something that no one in my school know about. But what happens if the most popular yet egotistical jerk at my school finds out about my secret? Will he be able to keep it?

Chapter 1

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

The annoying sound of my alarm clock blasting in my ears. I struggled to get up from bed, I was so comfy but I managed to get up and press the snooze button on the clock. I went to the bathroom and hopped in the shower

as the  hot water hit my skin woke me up completely. I couldn't help but think about everything that needed to be done today. A

 I showered quickly before getting out and started rummaging through my closet for my outfit. Today was the first day of school, for Freshman's it's their first day of high school, for sophomores it the year they start counting down till they finally reach their senior year, juniors are doing the same thing. 

But luckily for me it was my last year. I looked at the picture on my wall of my parents. A small sad smile reached my face as I remember how much my parents wanted me to have an amazing high school experience. But their time with me ended quickly.

I tried my best to live my life as best I can and honestly I am happy where I am right now. At least I am not completely alone. I thought to myself.

 I finally finished getting ready so I had to go wake up my daughter so I can drop her off at daycare before I go to school. I slowly crept into her room and saw that she was still sleeping. The sight of my beautiful daughter sleeping peacefully just warms my heart. I knew that waking her up would be difficult so I braced myself.

"Rosie? Rosie wake up baby girl, we have to get ready you're going to daycare"

I didn't have to tell her twice before she opened her eyes and greeted me with a smile.

Yes I am a mother. I was pregnant with Rosie towards the end freshman year. It was also a very tough year for me. But I will tell you about that later. I was currently trying to get this little sleep monster up or else I would be very late.

"Okay time to get ready, let's go so that mommy won't be late for school" 

"Mommy I go school?" Rosie asked me

"Yes, you go to school while mommy goes to school"

"Mommy I wanna come with you" she said as tears brimmed her eyes

"Sweetheart you can't come with me to school next time you will okay?"

She nodded and started brushing her teeth while I packed her little backpack with snacks and extra clothes and her blankie. As soon as she finished I dressed her up and grabbed some breakfast on our way out. Today's drop off didn't consists of bribery.

Everyday I see changes in her personality and as much as I hate to admit, my little girl is growing up but once she hits her teenage years, Oh god help me.

After I dropped off Rosie I drove to school. I parked at the student parking lot only to be greeted by my best friend Tyler Cade. If I were describe Tyler in detail, He a 6'4 toned model of a male and Jesus is he gorgeous. But I will not ruin our friendship by having a measly crush on him now.

He is intimidating to most people and very popular but to me he is the biggest teddy bear you will ever meet. But to Rosie? that little girl has him wrapped around her finger. I have video of him 2 days ago when Rosie wanted to play nail salon and there was Tyler sitting in the kiddie chair and Rosie is painting his nail bright orange.
