Dear Diary,

Hello.

It's me.

Today...I'm going to tell you the story of my life...

All the way from high school til the day I died...

You see...As the daughter of a very wealthy family, your parents expect great things from you without any mistakes.

Yes...I have strict parents...

I had no friends while growing up...

I spend most of time studying indoors and never got to socialize with the other kids.

I was always homeschooled...

But a few days after I turned fifteen...

My parents told me it was time I get ready to go to an actual school because they believed I was ready.

Ready to face the outside world.

So...When I first transferred into Yongedu High, which is one the best schools that my parents could applied me too.

It was clean.

The teachers were nice but strict.

And they have expectations on all the students.

But the other students...well...

When I got there. They were really mean to me.

They call me plain and boring.

The first few days of school were nothing but relentless teasing.

But...It was nothing I can't handle...

And then...That's when I met him.

Kuro Mirai.

He became my first friend.

He was different from the other kids.

He never said not one mean thing about me.

But he never really talks to other students besides Yamazaki-kun...who appears to be his only friend.

I was surprised that he was well-known around here as Jigoku Otokonoko. Which means hell boy in Japanese...

I felt bad that he received such an horrible name.

The two of us didn't talk to each other at first until he confronted me...

He was so nice to me.

I was grateful to finally have a friend.

Anything to take my mind off of the teasing and the pressure of one day taking over my father's company in his stead.

We both were...the same...

We were both alone...

I felt like it was an connection.

We understand one another...

The first few weeks of school past and they were normal.

Mei: Thanks for walking with me to school today, Kuro.

Kuro: Ah. No problem.

Mei felt happy that Kuro offered to help her get to school to get to know her surroundings better since no one else...not even the class president himself...even bother to show her around.

Mei goes up to her locker and puts on her school shoes as Kuro does the same.

???: Well well well. What do we have here?
