Chapter 30: Preliminary

You watched which a contented smile as the students made it out of the entrances. Though it seemed like a simple thing of the ordinary, the fact that you are taking this gigantic event so loosely and is visibly impatient, both of your companions knew otherwise.

"Player's pledge!" A female hero announced as she stood on a stage. Her outfit and overall demeanor revealed her to be a rated-18 hero known as Midnight.

And her appearance ended up making some of the males around you blush. But titling you head in question you hummed to yourself. "Why is there a rated-18 hero in a school, is that even aloud?" Tamashī voiced out your thought in which Gensui agreed.

"We will never know..." The black haired male remarked.

"Representing the students is Bakugo Katsuki from Class 1-A!" Midnight announced getting your attention. 'I expected no less...' You thought nervously as the blonde walked up to the stage and up to the mic.

"I pledge..." Katsuki started which made his classmates look up at him nervously and expectantly. "..that I'll be number 1." he finished and in return was an uproar from the other classes. "Well I did expect that." You say giggling at his antics.

"But he usually does that while laughing.." You added thoughtfully watching him as he walked back to his place with his class while everyone, even his classmates, seemed to argue with him.

"Seems like they tamed the beast, huh?" Gensui remarked amused the other two talking about the scene in where Katsuki isn't blowing up for once in their experience.

"Don't be stupid, you horned bull. It is obvious that Bakugo wanted them to be a bigger challenge for him..." Tamashī argued "Besides... the only person who is can do is sitting right between us." He added looking over at you who was watching the scene in delight.

"Hmm?" You looked at the white head with confusion but he merely turned back as Gensui agreed with him. "Ooh yeah..! Correct you are."

"What?" You looked between the two who only had slight pity in their mind. 'And he's not the only one...'.

[Flashback]

You sighed in relief as the fortuneteller told you of a bright future for your company. But as you bid her goodbye the fortuneteller approached your most trusted companions and whispered to them.

"Watch over the child, they are sure to attract a lot of attention and trouble in the near future..." He mutter.

"..Both to the heart and body..." They added before leaving.

With surprise they looked among each other until they noticed some of the other employees giving you lots of respect and even some special treatment.

'A natural love and danger magnet..' They concluded as they watch you flop around obliviously almost knowing down some stuffs that would have broken if it weren't for Gensui, who caught them.

'What a bad pair...'

[Flashback End]

"I feel sorry for them..." Tamashī suddenly spoke catching you by surprise as Gensui nodded indifferently.

"H-Huh...?" You blinked in confusion as they sighed.

The 3rd green light above the staring light went out and Midnight's came immediately after.

"Start!" She announced and the mob of students charged into a tight passageway, the starting part of the race.

"Look at them go." Gensui remarked amusingly, pointing at the students pushing and closing in on each other.
