Rain droplets slowly fall down her window. All she's able to see in front of her is the side of her backyard. The gloom of the day has gotten her down. Overwhelmed with school work and her teenage angst, Beth often finds herself opening her memory box stashed underneath her bed. With her arms across her chest, she turns to the box uncovered atop of her violet colored bed sheets. She strides over to the box and eyes what's within. A single daisy flower rests atop of all of her memories. She couldn't help the smile that's beginning to form. She grasps the used flower and smells the aroma once more. Underneath the flower stations an array of photo booth pictures. She gasps, holding her palm to her mouth. She reaches and grasps the picture. Her eyes fall upon Jake, Tristan and herself posing for the photo booth. Three wide pictures descend down the laminated picture. First picture, Jake sits to her left while Tristan sits to her right. Everyone smiles widely. The second beneath everyone's making a silly face. Jake appears to be smelling his finger during this picture, Tristan wagging out his tongue and Beth giving a winky face.

She couldn't help but think about that day in full. As soon as she knows it, she's compelled into the flashback.

Flashback. Wesleyan Fair, 4 Years ago.

Tristan, Jake & Beth walk together towards the entrance of the fair. Bright lights and attention grabbing sounds can be heard throughout the event. After paying for entry, all three enter the fair.

"I heard this year would be there last year for fairs." Tristan says, eyeing the pretzel machine north of him. Beth fake gasps, turning to him.

"No way! This is my favorite part of summer! I can't imagine not doing this." Jake shrugs his shoulders.

"It's bound to happen. Look at these rides, definitely looks like it has been years since they've been repaired." The group laughs as the night continues.

Grabbing a soda at the nearby counter, Jake turns to Beth.

"I don't think I'm ready for Freshman year." Beth turns to Jake.

"Why's that? We've been waiting for this our whole lives! We're almost done with school." Jake shrugs his shoulders.

"High School seems scary. I've been watching this Tv show called 'High School Fever' and they go through a lot of stuff." Beth giggles.

"You can't take what that show has to heart. That's not real life." Jake nods his head, his eyes yearning for hers.

"I suppose you're right. I'm glad we'll all be going together though."

Later that night, the shops at the fair appear to be closing for the night. Jake turns to Beth.

"It looks like everything is closing up. Shall we head home?" Beth's eyes darts towards the Ferris wheel. Beth smiles and points upward. Jake follows the direction of the gaze and immediately shakes his head.

"No way! You know I'm afraid of heights." Beth smirks. Jake lowers his head.

"I guess I don't have a choice in this do I?" Beth, with the same smile nods her head while heading towards the attraction.

After a few moments of waiting in line, Jake & Beth enter the passenger car. Ride attendants shut the door and lock it from the outside. Jake, sits in the corner hugging the gates that surround him. Beth sits right next to Jake, causing  his heart to flutter. Almost instantly, Jake's nervousness ceases to exist. All he saw was her. The Ferris wheel stirs before beginning to rise. Jake's eyes couldn't help but overlook the beautiful night filled with attraction lights that cast a golden hue across the sky. Beth unexpectedly reaches for Jake's hand.
