A while back one of my good friends on Instagram had a story. The story said something like when you become wealthy don't build taller walls build longer tables.
This struck me as a good point. Why waste it building walls when you could build lives by simply asking that begger on the road to join you for dinner?
My family started at the bottom. Living off of welfare. We gradually made it up to the middle class. When I become wealthy I don't want to be remembered as the guy with the tallest walls but the guy with the biggest table shared with the most people possible. The guy that gave people a chance when no one even cared that they existed.
