A few days later, there was a hearing to discuss the fight between Orange and Juniper. It was also a trial run of Joy's new justice system, and she was very confident it was going to work.

Glory stood at the head of the room, Deathbringer loyally at her side. Orange took the left side of the room, with Juniper on the right. Shore, Rin, Joy, and other curious spectators remained at the back of the room.

The two girls glared forcefully at each other.

...Well, as much as Juniper could glare with an eye-patch on.

Shore eyed the two dragons worriedly, uneasy about any outcome this could have.

"So you two had a fight." Glory began. "Juniper would like to press charges against Orange due to it. Do I have that correct?"

"Yes, Your Majesty." Juniper and Orange murmured.

"Good. Juniper, can you please relay to me what happened with this fight in your own words?" Juniper scoffed. "AND," Glory added. "Might I remind you that full honesty is enforced during this session." Juniper's head tilted up even higher as she started talking.

"I'm completely overwhelmed by what happened, your Majesty. I was simply minding my own business, when this crazed dragon appeared out of NOWHERE and launched herself at me! I tried to fight back, but, you know, I don't have much fighting experience, and she was so strong and violent. I barely knew what was happening, and then her talons were raking across my face, and then I passed out and woke up in the healer's hut, missing an eye."

If looks could kill, Orange's stare would've spontaneously combusted the Rainwing before her.

"I see." Glory replied. "Now, Orange, would you please relay to me your take of the events, in your own words?" Orange straightened up.

"Of course, Your Majesty." she insisted. "I was simply going about my day, when Juniper appeared, and decided to pick a fight with me. A verbal fight, to be exact. And she said some things that....Well, I just couldn't let them go unsaid without some kind of punishment, so I did what I felt had to be done, and I don't apologize for any of those actions."

"What exactly did she say?" Glory urged. Orange made a face.

"She....She had some very atrocious things to say about certain members of the royal family, Your Majesty." Glory paused.

"Is there anything specific you remember?"

"I would prefer not to repeat such retched things if I could help it."

"Well I'm afraid you may have to in order to assure yourself a fair trial." Orange squirmed.

"It's just..."

"Oh. My. Gosh." Juniper scoffed. "Are you REALLY that pathetic that you can't even repeat it?"

"Perhaps you would like to enlighten us on what you said," Glory suggested. Juniper shrugged.

"Fine by me. All I said were facts. I said that," She pointed at Rin in the audience. "She was a whore who got herself knocked up and will accomplish nothing with her life." Her point turned to Ander. "That she is a total freak, and her boyfriend is a cult member who's probably plotting to murder us all." The point went to Shore. "And he's a dumbass who married a total psychopath."

Silence dropped over the entire room as Queen Glory's gaze settled on Juniper.

"Get. Out." The queen said dangerously.

"Excuse me?" Juniper questioned. "I'm still pressing charges-" Glory spread her wings, looking even more intimidating as she stepped towards her.

"You won't be pressing charges, because you're no longer welcome in my territory, you little twat." Glory said calmly and firmly. "So I'll say it again. GET. OUT."

Juniper squeaked and bolted for the door.

"....What now?" Shore finally asked, once scary Glory had retreated.

"Orange, you're free to go." Glory declared. "I appreciate you beating the shit out of her, and am sorry you were arrested for it."

"Understood." Orange nodded. "....Can I fist bump you?"

"No, but you may fist-bump Deathbringer in my place." Orange grinned.

"Cool." She fist-bumped Deathbringer, and practically skipped out the door with Shore.

"Shore, your Grandmother is awesome." Orange declared, grinning.

"Nah," Shore insisted. "You're awesome."
