Rosella and Aria walked along the border between the Mudwing Kingdom and the Rainforest, talking with their friend Mora, Cypress and Anaconda's daughter.

"So, apparently, my aunts have kidnapped a small child." Mora began.

"Are they asking for ransom money?" Rosella questioned, the conversation topic not even striking her as odd.

"Nah. According to Aunt Stream, they adopted this little Sandwing dragonet because he didn't have any family, and Aunt Willow freaked out because he had no idea that there were three meals in a day."

"What's his name?" Aria asked. She liked learning the names of new dragons, only to immediately ask the stars to tell her everything they knew about that dragon.

"Thistle. He's adorable." Mora offered. "Unlike MY siblings, who are just plain annoying."

"HEY!" A mad voice cried out. "We are NOT annoying!" As if on cue, Mora's younger siblings tumbled out of a nearby bush, quickly followed by Wren, Prism, and Aurora.

Mora rolled her eyes.

"Must you follow me EVERYWHERE?" She demanded.

"Well, if you're gonna badmouth us, then yeah!" Fen, her younger brother, insisted.

"Okay, Fen and Fawn make sense," Rosella declared. "But what are the rest of you doing here?"

"Visiting my besties." Prism proclaimed, hugging Fen and Fawn.

"Babysitting." Wren added, nodding towards Prism.

"I got bored." Aurora shrugged. "Wren let me tag along."

"Oh, don't tell Pax and Teal that." Aria grinned. "They'll freak out." Aurora rolled her eyes.

"They're weird." She complained. "Wren is the only guy who's normal."

"Hey!" Mora declared. "Pax isn't weird."

"What about Teal?" Rosella questioned. Mora shrugged.

"Yeah, okay, him too, I guess."

"I am not normal." Wren announced. "You're ridiculous, Rora."

"Am not!"

"Are so."

"Am not!"

The others rolled their eyes as Wren and Aurora continued their argument. Aria tilted her head up, and started counting on her talons, like she was waiting for something.

"Life changing moment in three....two...." She pointed at the trees just as two dragons crashed through the space, obviously in the middle of a fight.

"Idiot!" The older dragon yelled out, shoving the other to the ground.

"Moronic plum!" The younger dragon shot back before noticing the dragons around him.

Both of the mysterious dragonets appeared to be Nightwing-Rainwing hybrids. The older was lined with sickly green scales mixed with black ones, and he looked nearly, if not fully grown. The younger dragonet was much more handsome, with purple scales so dark, they were nearly black. He had blue green eyes, and as he got to his feet, multiple dragons in the group held their breath.

"Hi!" Fawn was the first one to speak, waving at the pair.

"Who are you?" Rosella asked, intrigued, and amused as Aurora, Aria, Mora, and Prism drooled slightly over the younger dragon. Wren stayed perfectly still, staring at the younger dragon. The two mystery dragons shoved at each other, and the younger one spoke up first.

"My name is Raven," He began. "This obnoxious pest is my older brother Crow. And, judging from appearances, I'd say you're Princess Rosella?"

"Correct." She replied. "Nice to meet you, Raven." He smiled, and Aria and Aurora sighed contently. Rosella rolled her eyes and gestured to her friends. "The drooling ones would be my cousins, Aria and Prism, and our friends Mora and Aurora. That's my other cousin Wren, and Mora's siblings Fen and Fawn."

"Hey," Crow grinned widely at Aria, who shuddered slightly and turned away. Raven's gaze rested on Wren, and he smiled softly and sweetly. Wren's scales went a light pink, and his face went red.

"Hjhfmmm," Wren stumbled before just giving up entirely and turning to inspect a tree, trying not to die. Raven tried not to laugh, and smiled at the ground, trying not to blush.

"So!" Crow began, stepping up next to Rosella with a broad grin. "What's it like being royal AND gorgeous?" Without so much as a blink, Rosella shoved her talons in Crow's face.

"Imma stop you right there." She stated. "A- I have a boyfriend. B- I'm WAY out of your league, C- I could kick your ass with my wings bound, and D- talk to the hand because the ears aren't listening." She shoved him back by the face, leaving him bewildered.

"Okay then." He said, defeated. "I pity your boyfriend, but whatever." He turned to Aria, smiling. "What's up, beautiful?"

"Láttam a jövőjéteket." Aria began. "an Dir sidd ärm lästeg ball vu Reis. Ibqa '' l bogħod miegħi u l-familja tiegħi, du ubehagelig gulerod."

".....What?" Crow looked extremely confused.

"I've insulted you in four different languages- move on. Gaa ihu." Aria offered. Crow backed away, but Raven tilted his head.

"There are multiple languages?" He asked. Aria nodded.

"Thousands, if you are a proper speaker." She offered. "It's quite helpful, if you wish to call someone an unpleasant carrot in Danish." Raven laughed.

"I don't know what Danish is," He admitted. "But calling someone an unpleasant carrot sounds pretty great." Aria studied him for a moment, then turned to Wren.

"Keep but beware." She said vaguely. Crow, in the meantime, attempted to move onto his next victim.

"So," He began, grinning at Prism.

"Nope." Rosella ordered.

"But-"

"How old are you?" Rosella demanded.

"Fourteen." Crow offered.

"Yeah- she's TWO. Walk away." Crow scowled.

"Fine," He agreed. "But if that boyfriend of yours ever messes up, or you ever want someone a little older to show you a good time- you know my name." Rosella grimaced.

"No." He insisted. "On every level- No."
