~ All a girl really wants is for one guy to show her that they are not all the same.
I arrived at the small cafe a bit earlier then I was supposed to. I was really nervous on what Harry wanted to talk to me about. He didn't really say last night when we saw each other at the club.
After ten minutes of sitting there nervously biting my lip, Harry walked in. He sent a friendly smiled at me and I returned on back.
"Good morning Bel." He said.
"Good morning Harry. So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. He hesitated a bit before speaking, having an internal battle in his mind on what he was going to say.
"Why are you ignoring me all of sudden?" He asked. Well he gets straight to the point doesn't he. Now it was my turn to have a battle in my mind on what to say.
"I'm not ignoring you." I say.
"Are you sure? Because it looks like you are." He snaps.
"No I'm not, things came up. That happens Harry. I'm a busy girl, I didn't come here for fun. I don't know why you waste your time with me." I say, why doesn't he just give up or something. There's nothing special about me.
"You have a point there. But maybe I waste my time with you because I really like you." He says, I try looking in his eyes to see meaning behind his words, any hint that he is lying but I can't.
"Well you shouldn't, I'm not looking for a relationship, and I'll look for it when I'm ready." I nearly yell at him.
"Well you don't look for love Bel, that's why it's called falling in love, you don't force yourself to fall you just do." He tries to explain.
"Well maybe I don't want to take a chance of falling Harry. Cos when you fall you end up scared and hurt." I argue back.
"I say you should take that chance, you never know how absolutely perfect something may end up being." He grabbed my face in his large hands and smashed his lips on mine. I was shocked at first, what do I do. He was kissing me so slowly yet hard, a bit desperately. "Kiss me back. Please." He mumbled against my lips. Slowly and hesitantly I began kissing him back. His plump lips were gentle yet rough against mine, I'm sure his lips are covered with my red lipstick, but he didn't seem to care.
Slowly his lips left mine, the need to breath over powered us, his forehead was against mine.
"Why did you do that?" I asked, my lips were on fire. I don't know why, I've kissed before but it felt different this time.
"It was the only thing I could think off, you're a really stubborn girl." He said, smiling a bit.
"I'm not stubborn, I just have a way of doing things." I said.
"Then why are you so hesitant to give us a try?" He asked.
"Well Harry i mean, I leave in a month and so will you. Soon all we'll be to each other is a memory." I whisper looking in to his green eyes.
"I could be the love of your life, and you could be mine. Tell me will you be able to keep on living without wondering 'what if'. I know I sure couldn't." He asked, I thought for a moment, would it be that bad to give him a chance. Am I going to let what his brother said to me influence my whole view point of Harry. For all I know he could be lying because he's jealous me and Harry get along so well.
"No. I won't be able to live on with that question on my mind." I answer him.
"Then give me a chance, spend this month with me, and let's see where it takes us. If it's something strong I'd be willing to spend time in Paris with you, and see where things go. Just please give us a chance. I'm not proposing being official just yet, but let's take it slow and see where we end up at. Please. It's time to take a risk sweet heart." He stated I stared in to his eyes for a while. Would it be that bad to give in, to see where it takes us. Who knows I might gain a lover or a friend.
Or a broken heart. But it might be worth it. Just take the damn chance Belinda.
I grabbed Harry's face in my small hands, stroking his cheek. Slowly I leaned in, and connected my lips to his. This kiss was quicker and slower.
"I'll take that as a yes?" He said smiling.
"I'm taking this chance on us Harry."
