Bilbo peeks over some rocks on a high ledge and watches Azog and his Warg Scouts running along a ridgeline not far away, occasionally stopping to smell the air in their pursuit of the Company. Not finding anything, they continue on their way, but Bilbo hears a snarl from the side, and ducks behind the rocks, slowly peeking out and sees a large bear watching Azog from another pile of rocks, snarling softly. Bilbo sneaks away, making his way down the rocks to where the dwarves and Gandalf are waiting to hear Bilbo's spy report,

"How close is the pack?" Dwalin asked

"Too close" Bilbo replied "a couple of leagues, no more, but that is not the worst of it"

"Have the Wargs picked up our scent?" Ryneela asked

"Not yet, but they will" Bilbo replied "we have another problem"

"Did they see you?" Gandalf asked "they saw you!"

"No, that's not it" he responded, causing Gandalf to smile and turn to the dwarves

"What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse" the Grey wizard said "excellent burglar material"

The dwarves chuckle loudly in appreciation of Bilbo, who looks exasperated that no one is hearing him out,

"Will you listen- Will you just listen?" Bilbo snapped quietly "I'm trying to tell you there is something else out there" causing the dwarves to look worries

"What form did it take?" Ryneela asked, taking a small step toward the Hobbit "like a bear?"

"Ye . . ." Bilbo trailed off, looking curiously at Ryneela "y- yes. But bigger, much bigger"

"You knew about this beast?" Bofur asked Ryneela

Ryneela let out a slow breath through her nose, running a hand through her hair,

"I say we double back." Bofur added

"And be run down by a pack of Orcs" Thorin countered

"There is a house, it’s not far from here, where we might take refuge" Gandalf said, causing Ryneela to look at him

"Whose house?" Thorin asked "are they friend or foe?"

"Neither" he replied "he will help us, or he will kill us"

The dwarves looks at each other in dismay,

"Do you trust me?" Ryneela suddenly asked, looking at Thorin, causing the dwarven king to look at her

"With my life" he replied honestly "you know that"

"Then trust me on this" she said softly

"What choice do we have?" Thorin asked

A roar splits the night behind them, the familiar roar of a massive bear, one that Ryneela knew all too well when she passed through these parts of Middle Earth, a small sigh emitting from her nose,

"None" Gandalf said

The company is running through plains and across streams, Ryneela alongside Kili, who didn't want her out of his sight after he had confessed his love for her, which the Company understood, but Ryneela needed to have a brief word with him before they started courting.

"Come on!" Gandalf's shouted

As the Company runs through a forest, Azog and his Orcs are racing through the forest as well, urging his party on. Both groups stop suddenly when an ear-splitting roar sounds nearby,

"This way, quickly!" Gandalf said urgently

As the dwarves panic and run, Bombur looks on in shock until he is pulled along, Kili grasps Ryneela's hand as she almost loses her footing,
