Sammy's POV
"First day of college!" I said looking at Lexi who was laying in her bed sleeping. She groaned and rolled to her other side.
"I know you want to get sleep but we have a day of learning!" I said smiling and then my phone dinged. I grabbed it out of my butt pocket to see it was from Theo. I put it back in my pocket.
"Who was it?" Lexi asked as she got out of bed
"Take a guess" I said
"Your brother?" Lexi asked
"I wished, seems he hasn't cared about what has been going on since I got here" I said
"Do I have another guess?" Lexi asked as she grabbed a water bottle out of the mini fridge
"One more" I said glaring at her
"Theo?" She asked
"Yep" I said as I looked through my drawers for jeans
"I thought you were done with him?" Lexi asked
"He is hitting me up! I'm not doing anything" I said
"Sam, he doesn't deserve you. We finally got out of that stupid town and you left your toxic relationship. We are living a new life now" Lexi said
"I'm just going to read what he said" I said and she nodded
"He said.....that is bed is empty without me" I said
"Delete it and lets have a great day at COLLEGE" Lexi said
"Yes" I said and she smiled at me. I went to the bathroom and got changed.
We got to class, we had the same first period. We both sat next to each other. I looked around to see this guy with brunette hair and brown eyes, his smile showed his perfect white teeth. I guess I was staring a little too long cause he looked at me and then rolled his eyes.
"Hello girls" I heard a familiar voice say
"Michael Provost" Lexi said groaning
"Hey" He said sitting next to me
"Hi" I said looking him up and down
"Just so you guys know....ummm people from your high school can go to the same college as you" Michael said and Lexi rolled her eyes.
"Be nice" I said hitting her
"Sam, I was thinking we could go get coffee sometime this week" he said
"He will not give up" Lexi said
"Yeah totally....you still have my number" I said
"Maybe we could go on a double date....I have some friends I could hook Lexi up with" Michael said
"I don't want to go on a date with your friends" Lexi said
"Sureeeee" He said
"I'll see you girls later" Michael said getting up and going over to his friends
"Why him?" Lexi asked
"He isn't Theo?" I said unsure
"Sam, he's Theo's best friend!" Lexi said
"You aren't leaving your past self behind" She said
"I knew that you were always into him! You liked him while you were with Theo" She said
"Why does that matter?" I asked
"It doesn't" Lexi said and then the professor walked in and everyone went silent.
