Twenty nine: This isn't love

Sammy's POV

I was sitting in the Uber with Noah heading to find Michael. Noah didn't seem like he wanted to find Michael. I tried to grab his hand and he yanked it back.

"What was that for?" I asked 

"We shouldn't be doing this, Sam" Noah said sighing

"Michael left his phone so we knew where he was going" I said

"Why can't the police just handle this" Noah said

"He would be my side going to get you" I said

"Then you should be with him" Noah said

"Why are you saying  that? I'm with you because I love you" I said and he looked at me in shock

"Sorry it might have been too soon but I love you" I said

"This isn't love" Noah said and my jaw dropped

"We arrived" The Uber driver said. I got out without even waiting for Noah.

"You can't just go in there" Noah said as the Uber driver drove away. I stood in front of this long gray building. Couldn't tell what it was but I stood there trying to come up with a plan.

"Well what do you suggest, Noah" I said and he sighed

"I don't know" Noah said and just then we both heard a female scream. I ran to the doors and Noah stood in front of me.

"Are you dumb?" He asked

"I don't care anymore, Noah. Everyone is getting hurt because of me. I have to fix this and talk to Theo" I said

"There is nothing to fix" Noah said

"Just call the police. I'm going in" I said pushing him out of the way

"I love you even though you don't feel the same" I said sighing

"Don't go" Noah said. Just then there was hands around me and I was being pulled into the building. I could see Noah being pulled in also and he was trying to fight his way out.

"I knew you would come" Theo said as I saw someone eject a needle into Noah and he fell to the floor.

"Noah" I said and then Theo got closer to me

"I'm here you don't need him" I said

"Michael was right, you were going to come crawling here without calling the police" Theo said

"What?" I asked

"You think I could find where you were staying every time without help" Theo said as Michael walked down to us.

"He was never on your side" Theo said rolling his eyes

"He was tons of help. Maybe you should have listen to your boyfriend about not coming here" Theo said 

"Michael" I said and he looked away

"This whole time, you were never my friend?" I asked

"You never did pick the right people. Or stayed with the right people" Theo said laughing

"Well what are you going to do with me?" I asked

"Kill you" Theo said

"Sorry not me. Michael will" Theo said giving Michael the gun.

"No you didn't say that was part of it" Michael said giving him the gun back.

"What you can't kill her because you started to grow more feelings for her while you were not suppose to" Theo said

"She has a boyfriend" Theo said giving him the gun back

"She choose him over you, Michael" Theo said

"I know but I'm not killing her. You didn't even say we were going to kill her" Michael said

"Fine" Theo said pushing Michael to the ground

"I got what I needed from you so I'll kill both of you" Theo said

"You are joking, right?" Michael said as some guys grabbed him back. Just then cops burst through the door and the guys that were holding me back dropped me and everyone started to run."

"Fuck" Michael said as they dropped him. Cops were chasing everyone. I was laying on the floor facing Michael.

"Why?" I asked as I started to cry

"This whole time you were a fake ass bitch" I said sitting up seeing Noah on the floor.

"Sam, please. You don't understand" Michael said grabbing my hand

"I don't want to understand" I said yanking my hand back

"I love you" Michael said

"I love Noah." I said going over to Noah

"Baby, I'm sorry" I said picking his head up and putting it in my lap. I could see Michael staring.

COUPLE HOURS LATER

I was at the hospital with Noah's parents. I saw Lexi and Luke run into the hospital. I got up and Lexi ran and gave me a hug.

"We are so glad you are safe" Lexi said

"Yeah, we are good" I said sighing

"Lets sit and we can talk" Luke said

"I don't think I want to talk. I have had to tell multiple cops about everything" I said

"How did the cops find you though?" Luke asked

"Noah called the police before we went in" I said 

"You guys the family of Noah" The nurse asked

"Yes" His mom said

"He is awake and fine. I can tell you more on the way to see him?" The nurse asked

"Yes" His dad said and they started to walk down the hall

"He said he didn't love me back" I said as I started to cry

NOAH'S POV

My parents enter the room with the nurse. My mom ran over and gave me a hug. She was sobbing and my dad looked like he had been crying.

"How are you feeling?" My mom asked

"I feel fine, mom" I said

"Where is Sam?" I asked scared of the answer.

"She is in the hallway with Lexi and Luke" My dad said

"She is fine, right?" I asked

"Yes" My mom said

"What happened to her when I passed out?" I asked

"Breathe, hun" My mom said

"I want to see her" I said and my mom looked at my dad

"Okay" My dad said and they left the room with the nurse. Couple minutes later, Sam came in.

"I'm so sorry for pulling you into all of this. I'm glad to see you safe" Sam said, she stayed at the end of the bed.

"How is Michael?" I asked

"He got arrested with Theo. You were right we shouldn't have got him" Sam said

"Why is he in jail?" I asked

"He was telling Theo our location. Theo was going to have Michael kill me" Sam said

"Fuck, come here" I said and she looked at me weirdly

"Maybe we should take a break" She said

"What?" I asked

"You don't love me" Sam said going to leave the room

"Sam please" I said

"We need to take a break" Sam said leaving the room. She left the room and my heart went with her. Why didn't I shout it before she left, we both aren't perfect but I just let the best thing in my life walk out of the door.

"Noah, we get to take you home in an hour" My mom said coming into the room. She paused when she saw me starting to cry.
