Thirteen: Noah

Sammy's POV

I rolled my head over to the side. I slowly opened my eyes, my whole body was in pain. When I opened my eyes, I was faced to Noah sleeping in one of the chairs. 

"Noah" I said softly trying to wake him up. He still stayed peacefully sleeping. I looked up to see a clock reading two am.

I heard Noah's phone vibrate, his phone was sitting on the table next to me. I slowly reached my arm out and grabbed it. His phone lit up my face with a text from Michael.

Michael: I can't sleep, text me if she wakes up.

I put his phone back on the table. Noah started to shift, I turned to my other side. I could hear him getting up, I felt his hand on my back.

"Noah" I said facing him and he smiled

"Hey" He said 

"I think it's past visiting time" I said with a small smile across my face

"I snuck in, I couldn't go home" Noah said

"After all this is my fault" Noah said and I rolled my eyes

"Shut the fuck up" I said 

"You are pretty sassy for just getting shot" Noah said 

"I'm alive" I said lifting my gown up

"Sam" Noah said in shock and I went to feel where the bullet hit

"The doctor said you shouldn't touch that" Noah said as he pulled my gown down.

"Where is Theo?" I asked

"Jail" Noah said and then the door opened to my dad.

"Noah?" My dad asked

"Sorry sir" Noah said

"Please exit the room" My dad said and Noah nodded. Once Noah left the room my dad started to tear up a little bit.

"Dad, I'm alive" I said 

"Hun" My mom said opening the door

"Sam! My baby" She said 

-TWO WEEKS LATER-

I walked into the coffee shop to see that Grayson was working. I smiled as I walked over to the line. I could tell that he saw me from the big smile that grew across his face. Once I got up to the front, he bit his lip.

"Grayson" I said 

"I heard what happened and it's great to see that you are back and doing good" He said smiling 

"Thanks" I said 

"I need to get two drinks. One Vanilla latte, medium" I said and then I looked at the menu board. 

"Chai tea, medium and both hot please" I said and Grayson nodded

"Nine even" Grayson said and I handed him a ten

"Keep the rest" I said as I put a five in his tip jar

"Wow you spoil me" He said rolling his eyes

"Oh stop" I said

"I need them fast so that's why I'm spoiling" I said

"For that reason, I'm going to go slow" Grayson said as Jc came out

"Hey Sam" Jc said 

"Hey" I said as Jc got the line. I looked around to a band setting up on the stage.

"Oh band playing tonight?" I asked Grayson

"Yeah, local band" Grayson said and I nodded. Grayson handed me both of the drinks 

"Thank you, Gray. I'll see you soon" I said

"Bye, Sam" Grayson said as I left

I started to walk to the dorm, I was dreading to go too. Felt like he was avoiding me but I wasn't sure. I got him coffee which I didn't even need to but I did. I stood in front of his dorm and knocked.

"What the fuck do you want?" Trevor's face appeared as the dorm opened

"Is Noah here?" I asked

"Yes, he is in his room" Trevor said letting me in the dorm. I stood in front of his door and I could feel Trevor glaring at me.

"If it makes you feel any better, he is alone" Trevor said and I nodded. I opened the door to see him sitting at his desk. He had his headphones in and he was typing. 

I set the coffee down and shut his door. I put my purse down and took my shoes off. I took my coat off and threw it on his bed. He didn't notice that I was here at all. I grabbed his coffee and walked over to him, I put the coffee down in front of him. He stopped what he was doing and looked up at me.

"Sam" He said as he sighed. He took his headphones out and he closed his laptop.

"Nice to see you too! Haven't seen you at all" I said 

"It's nothing personal" Noah said and I rolled my eyes. He got up as I walked over to his bed and sat down.

"I just feel out of place with Michael around. Your parents love him. He is amazing compared to me" Noah said

"This is what this is about" I said sighing

"Because your ass will always pick Michael" Noah said

"What's really going on?" I asked

"I don't do this feeling shit" Noah said and I rolled my eyes 

"But here I am, staying the night in the hospital because I'm worried about you" Noah said

"What are you saying? Can you just say it" I said

"I want you" Noah said slowly

"Oh" I said and he glared at me

"Oh? That's all?" He asked

"I have feelings for you too, Noah" I said laughing.

"That's all?! I SAID I WANT YOU!" Noah said and I just gave him a kiss. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him.

"How's that?" I asked and he smiled

"Better but not good enough" He said reconnecting our lips 

"I think you should get back to your homework" I said letting go of him. I went over to his bed and got in it. I grabbed the T.V remote off the night stand.

"It can wait, it's late either way" Noah said taking his shirt off. He walked over to his dresser and grabbed sweats.

"I'm not staying the night here" I said and he rolled his eyes

"Just text Lexi that you will be here with me" Noah said 

"I need to go home though" I said

"You aren't going back to classes! Plus I don't have any classes tomorrow so I can watch you" Noah said giving me a kiss

"Fine" I said as he nodded and left the room. I grabbed my phone out to see that Lexi already left me a text.

Lexi: Michael is here 

Lexi: Never mind he left. Maybe you should call him
