The next day I make my way in to work early. I go to my office and leave my door open purposely. I sit down at my desk and set up my laptop. Half an hour later Michael walks past. He stops when he sees my door open. He looks in and smiles.

"Morning." He nods. "You're in early? And you've left your door open for once! Feeling ok?"

"Yeah actually, I feel great thanks." I smile.

He lowers his eyebrows.

"How are you?" I ask.

"Uh I'm good... You seem different."

"How?" I ask.

"Leaving your door open, smiling, speaking to me. It's not normal behaviour from you."

I chuckle.

"Well come in, and we'll talk about your contract."

"Really? Like, now?"

"Yeah, like now." I give him a look.

"Why do I get the feeling there's something else involved..." He says walking in.

"Close the door." I smile and nod at the door.

He raises an eyebrow and shuts the door behind him.

"Take a seat." I say looking at the chair in front of my desk.

"Ok..." He chuckles and slowly sits down looking at me.

I smirk and gather some paper work, acting as if they are his contract but it's actually what I printed off last night.

"So if you want to read it through now, and then you can sign it. Feel free to ask my any questions too."

He stares at me as I slide the pieces of paper over to him. His eyes flicker down to the documents. He turns the page and I watch him. He shows no reaction to the article. He stares at the piece of paper for a few seconds. He looks up at me, showing no expression.

"Any questions?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

"No." He shakes his head. "But I bet you have some."

He doesn't look phased by this...

"The question is, should I show this to Marcus?"

"Do what you want with it, but don't forget I can ruin your life with the shit I got on you too."

"That's why I think we should come to some agreement."

Michael laughs.

"Oh, I wonder what you have in mind." He says sarcastically.

"Permenately delete that video, don't accept the promotion, and leave. Or Marcus will find out you went to prison for murder."

Michael laughs and shakes his head.

"Ok, is there another option?" He asks smirking.

"No. I'm not having a dangerous, crack head work for us. It's either that or I'll show Marcus anyway."

"So you done some digging. I bet you think you're real clever now? But that's not the truth, and you can go ahead and show Marcus, but you won't get away with it that easily because I'll show him that video."

"Do you really think he will want to pay attention to some stupid video after he finds about who you really are? And what isn't the truth? That you murdered someone or you have a wife?"

"We'll see." Michael shrugs. "Either way your be done, and so will I. I'm not giving up that easily. And out of that WHOLE atricule about me being such a bad person, you notice that small fact stating i have a wife? What's pissed you off the most? That I'm an evil person, I've been to prison, or I have a wife?"
