Surrender

I surrender.
It's part of my violent nature,
I suppose I don't see the forest for the trees.
The goddess of smoke rises into my throat,
Like Lilith escaping Adam's oaths.
I choke, apple I've thrust into my own neck
List down the words I've said,
Use them against me in court.

I am the first sepulchre.
That goddess who lives in my head
Built of mud from the river of the dead.
Goddess born in the corner of a hovel
Clay obtained from the attic of a brothel.
Goddess I was born only a man,
Flay me goddess, because you can.

I surrender.
It's in my penned literature.
Morbidly holding up flesh on my skeleton,
I'm just waiting for decapitation.
Replace my head, my body but not my heart
I'll keep it, calcified in a Bell Jar.
Goddess, hold your knife to my throat,
Bless me with blood, I am what we loathe.

I surrender.
They have repackaged you as splendour.
A noose around your neck, in gold lace,
10 arms, 100 bracelets to hold you in place.
Goddess they can't survive you, the calamity
As you live in my head, inflict it upon me.
Goddess, a piece of you from whore's eye,
Same as this particular iteration of "I".

I surrender,
You are the force of terrible nature.
Spare religious fever, you live in my head.
Live there till this "I" is dead,
If the confines of this skull suit you well,
Wreck your viscious havoc, upturn it's hell
Whirl knives, slash and slaughter there,
Till screams of the miscreant "I"s fill the air.
Dismember, eviscerate, decimate,
Slash, sever, dismember, decapitate,
With Their blood awash within my head,

I'll surrender.
I was born a man, my head is not a place
Where it was possible for you to rest.
But goddess you are slaughter incarnate,
And I am desperate, save me from myself.
I surrender to any pain, inflict upon me everything.
To make this mind of mine, your personal haven.
