Chapter 37

"So do you have a plan?" Clay asked.

"No." I said.

"Really? No sort of plan at all?"

"I'll make it up as a go along."

"I'm going to get killed because I am helping you."

"I'll protect you." I said. "Pan is no match for me."

"Then how come you got kidnapped?"

"Okay, I can't defend myself if someone hits me on the head."

"True."

"Just stand behind me and I'll make sure you are alive. You can even stay with us on the beach if you want to."

"You can't run from Pan." He said. "That's how you get killed. You're either with him or against him, and just saying I don't want to be on the wrong side of the fight."

"You won't be." I said. "I'm stronger than Pan. That's why he wanted me on this hell of an island."

"You're the only one who would be brave enough to go up against him."

"Then again I'm the only one who isn't afraid of him."

"I guess that's true."

"Yes."

"We're almost there. You better be ready." He said.

"Oh I am." I said.

"I am going to have fun with this." Pan said to Hook. Pan clenched his fists together and got ready to punch him.

"STOP!" I screamed. "If you touch him I will kill you."

"You won't do that." Pan said.

"You wanna bet that?" I asked. I threw a massive fireball at him and made him go flying.

"Nice." Clay said.

"Thank you."

"Come on we need to get Hook out of here before the other lost boys come."
"Too late." Kenneth said. "I knew you weren't loyal to Pan. Now I get to destroy the both of you."

"Not on my watch." I said. I took out a pouch from my pocket and blew fairy dust all over them, and they instantly passed out.

"Not bad Winter." Clay said.

"We need to leave now before they wake up." I said. We quickly grabbed Hook and I flashed us back to the beach. I set him down on the sand and healed him.

"I'll leave you alone." Clay said.

"Thank you for today Clay."

"You didn't deserve what Pan was doing to you."

"That means a lot."

"Don't do it Pan!" I heard Hook scream.

"Hook, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes." He looked at me very confused. "I thought you left."

"No, Pan kidnapped me too but he let me go for some reason."

"And you came back for me?"

"Of course I did."

"Why?"

"Because I love you, you idiot." I said.

"You don't know how long I've wanted you to say that."

I smiled and hugged him, "What are we going to do about tomorrow?"
"Bloody hell! I totally forgot about that."

"It's a good thing I forgave you right?"

"True."

"I guess tomorrow is the big day."

"You'll do great." He said.

"At least I have someone waiting for me."

"You will always have me."

"Now that was cheesy." I said. "But hey at least you'll be able to come back with me." He looked at me with a confused look on his face. "The bet."

"I know and I completely forgot about that." Hook stated. We both laughed.

"I'm going to go to bed then. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good night."
