fire scorches my heart
as it crumbles like stale cookies
into a mix of lies and verities.
water drowns my eyes
--i cannot blink at the horror
of what takes flight underneath.
earth tastes of death:
rotting corpses, smiling skulls
entice me to join and not regret.
air floats among toxins in disguise
twin berries coated chameleon:
which to pick and sacrifice.
This brittle photograph
Cannot focus no more.
Nothing is black and white
Only grey soars.
