that'd be
most likely
like a badly timed joke.
where every corner of the human brain
was molded to put itself first
for the cruel game of survival
it's a reminder that
the sun is not shining
it's fury incarnate
the moon is not pensive
it's cold and aloof.
but if not, then your heart must outweigh your rationality.
so when someone like you
accompanying us
on the new path we're travelling
as happy as we are
like I said we'd be
it somewhat concerns me
that you are caring for us in place of yourself.
