Running around
Here and there
Searching for things lost
It's the burden that we share
Time can't turn backwards
So we lose ourselves in the rush
To get this and that done stat, but
All exactly for what?
Let's make it worthwhile
Enjoy the things we'll miss
Before they're gone in a blink of an eye
Either they disappear, or us first.
All things priceless
From the earth to the sky
To the beating heart inside
Of the things less cherished
Let's paint our lives in colours
Even if we have trouble
Admiring a rainbow
Amidst the darkest storm.
A bit of a generic poem, I know...but it helped me break out of my block, so I'm posting it.
Oh yeah, and you would've noticed the banner at the top. I'm planning to put the banners on the already-published poems when the winter break comes.
