Many times
I've weighed my heart
Against another
Of those I've slain
And every time
I'd wait for the truth
That would scream
For me to perish too
But perhaps death
Is too small of a price
For someone drowned in blood jewels
The most fitting crown
Is one of hollow bones
That I can barely
Keep on my head
As it becomes
Ever more
Heavy
Like the souls
In heaven
Are pressing down
With the weight of the sky
