Ashton (His POV):

Every night I almost call you just to say it always will be you.

I pick up my phone again, but quickly set it down. Do I call? I didn't call yesterday. Maybe you want me to call. I grab my phone and select your contact before I have the chance to change my mind - then I wait as it rings. "Hello?" Just the sound of your voice makes me weak. "Y/n," I sigh, missing you even more now. "Ashton! It's been a while. What's up?" You ask casually. "I miss you," I admit immediately. I hear you sigh and I regret being so forward. "You know that this wouldn't work. Not seeing each other for six months at a time? We'd never make it," You explain for the dozenth time. "Why can't we try?" I ask, biting my lip to keep it from trembling. "I can't do it, Ash," you sigh. "When the tour's over?" I ask hopefully. "That's a long way away," you point out. "I'm gonna wait," I tell you, hoping to hear the same from you. "See you in six months," you sigh. With that the line goes dead.

Luke:

You were crying at the airport. When they finally closed the plane door I could barely hold it all inside.

"I better get going," Luke sighs into your hair. You pull away from his hug and look up at him. He smiles sadly back, wiping stray tears from your cheeks. "It'll only be a few months," he reminds you weakly. "That's a long time," you sigh, wiping quickly at another tear. "Final boarding for flight 47," a voice announces. Luke sighs heavily and you hug him tighter than ever, kissing him one last time in hopes of memorizing the feeling. He pulls away and grabs his bag, walking the last few steps to the boarding zone. He looks back with tears in his eyes, holding them back for your sake. You wave sadly, using your sleeve to wipe the tears still falling freely. He turns away, wanting to get on the plane before he completely lost it.

Calum:

I wish I didn't have to be gone. Maybe you've already moved on, but the truth is I don't want to know.

"I, um, saw pictures of you with another guy," Calum tells you over Skype, clearly struggling to sound casual. "Who?" You ask, confused. He pulls up a picture on his phone and shows you, making you laugh. "You met him last time you visited, Cal. He's gay," you explain, shaking your head. "Oh," Calum says, relieved. "Do you not trust me?" You ask, hurt that he suspected you of cheating. "I do, I do," he sighs, "I'm just afraid you'll meet someone better while I'm gone." "Calum, when will you understand that there is no one better?" You ask, shaking your head at his ignorance. He shrugs, looking down at his hands. "I love you, Cal, okay?" You say, hoping he'll finally get it. "Okay," he says with a nod, "I love you, too." "Then you have nothing to worry about," you laugh. He nods again, a smile spreading across his face. "What?" You ask warily. "Tell me you love me again. It sounds nice," he giggles.

Michael:

For a while we pretended that we never had to end it, but we knew we'd have to say goodbye.

"When do you go back on tour?" You whisper, looking up at Michael sadly. "Let's not think about that," Michael decides, pulling you into his chest and holding you close. You breathe in his comforting scent and sigh as he rests his chin on your head and you wrap your arms around his torso. "Can we just stay here forever?" You mumble. "I'd love that," he sighs, kissing your head gently. You smile up at him sadly and he pecks your lips. You stand on your tiptoes to reach his lips better, deepening the kiss. He pulls away, leaning his forehead against yours. "If I could be anywhere for the rest of my life, it'd be here with you," Michael sighed, kissing you again. "Hey, we aren't thinking about you leaving, okay?" You instruct. He nods and you do, too, although the thought that you only had a few days left together was difficult to ignore.
