Thirty four

One day later

Mackenzie pov

It was 10 at night and we had just gotten to Alissa childhood home, the house was beautiful, Alissa said her parents were sleeping but her brother was home.
Alissa parked the car and we grabbed our bags and Alissa knocked on the door, someone opened the door and I'm guessing it was Alissa's brother.
He was kind of hot to be honest.
Damn, I shouldn't like my best friends brothers.
He looked at me and put his hand out "Josh" he said "Olivia" I said while I shook his hand, he also shook Tessa's hand "Mom and Dad sleeping?" Alissa asked josh "yeah" he said.
Me and Tessa followed Alissa upstairs to her room, her room was pretty, and it had a huge bed.
I showered and put on booty shorts and a tank top then laid down on the mattress Alissa blew up for me, I let Tessa take the bed with Alissa because I'd probably end up kicking Alissa.
After a while Alissa was sleeping but me and Tessa were still awake "T?" I whispered "Yeah?" She asked "can I tell you a secret?" I asked "Yeah, what is it?" She asked "Alissa's brother is kind of hot" I said quietly "What!" Alissa sat up, well I guess she wasn't sleeping "Alissa, set a girl up" I joked "Ew, I'm am not setting my best friend up with my brother" Alissa said looking disgusted "I'm just kidding" I didn't want to make her mad.
Alissa said it was gross if her best friend was with her brother and saying why I shouldn't like him.
After like 20 minutes Alissa stopped talking about it and I went to sleep.

Tessa pov

Olivia went to sleep and me and Alissa were still awake "hey, can I talk to you?" I asked her "yeah, what's up?" She asked "not here" I told her "let's go to the kitchen" Alissa said.
We got out of the bed and walked downstairs "so what's up" Alissa said "I think you should let Liv be with josh is he wants to and if she wants to" I told her "why?" She asked "well, she's been kinda sad since her breakup with Logan, Olivia's needs some happy in her life" I explained.
Alissa sighed deeply "if they were gonna get together, wouldn't it be weird if they broke up" Alissa said "probably a little bit, but she needs someone" I told Alissa "but not right now, maybe a few weeks but they could like text and stuff and when he comes down they could Hang" I said "finee" Alissa said.

Olivia pov 9pm

I woke up after a nap and Alissa and Tessa weren't in the room, I noticed a note on the bed it read.
Olivia,
Sorry for leaving but Tessa needed some things and we didn't want to bother you, we'll be back at 10 or 10:30
You can make food if you want they're should be stuff in the fridge or the cabinets, my parents went to work but josh should be home.

Alissa and Tessa
I put the note down and grabbed a sweater and threw it over my tank top, I went downstairs and saw josh sitting in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal "Hey" he said "Hey" I said back to him "is there eggs, Alissa said I could make food?" I asked "Yeah, oh and pans are in the cabinet beside the fridge" josh told me "thanks" I said.
I grabbed eggs and stuff to make scrambled eggs, I then grabbed a pan "you want some scrambled eggs?" I asked "Sure" he said, I turned the stove on then put the eggs and stuff in the pan and cooked it.
After a few minutes they were done and josh put two plates on the counter for me, I put half on one plate and the other half on the other plate.
We sat at the table, josh told me funny stories of him and Alissa when they were younger and I almost choked from laughing.
(I know Alissa has another brother but I don't know his name 🤷‍♀️)
We finished the food and then sat in the living room, I sat on the biggest chair laying on my side and josh went on the single couch.
"Wanna watch a scary movie?" Josh asked me "Yeah, sure" I said, I sat up right and grabbed the blanket I was laying on and put it over me "do you like horror movies?" He asked "not really but it's fine" I told him "I'll protect you" josh said then came and sat beside me putting his arm around me.
I slightly smiled and then he put a scary movie on.
I jumped like twice and each time I covered my face with the blanket.
Half way through the movie I almost fell asleep "Tired?" Josh asked while looking at me "A bit, but I won't fall asleep" I told him.
The movie was over and it was 10pm Alissa should be back soon, once again I almost fell asleep "Tired now?" Josh asked again "yeah" I told him.
I laid my head on his shoulder and he looked at me, we starred at each other and after a few seconds we both leaned in and our lips connected.
This felt right.
It felt amazing.
After a few seconds we both pulled away, he put his hand on the side of my face and I smiled, he smiled back at me.
Our lips connected again, he laid down on his back and I was laying on top of him, he didn't try anything else it was just a make out.
When he stopped I saw the time and it was 10:27 "shit, Alissa and Tessa are gonna be here soon" I said "it's fine" he said while smiling "Come on let me go" I said trying to get out of his grip "nope, you're staying with me" he said while wrapping his arms around me.
We laid down on our sides with me at the back of the couch, it was pretty big so Josh wouldn't fall off, after a minute Josh sat up and so did I, I saw lights outside "They're here, gotta go" I said than ran upstairs back to the room and closed the door.
After about 5 minutes the door opened and it was Alissa and Tessa "Hey" I said "Hey, so what did you do while we were gone?" Alissa asked "What, why, what do you know?" I asked, I thought maybe she saw me through the window "wow, chill" she said "oh sorry" I said.

Time skip

4 days later

Today we were heading back to LA and at night like around 2 every night I would sneak into Josh's room and we'd cuddle and stuff. (Nothing dirty)
Alissa and Tessa were downstairs waiting for me, I told them I had to look for my phone but I only said that so I could go say goodbye to Josh.
I went to his room and closed the door he came over and immediately smashed his lips onto mine, I kissed him back and then put my arms around the back of his neck, he stopped kissing me and then said "I'm gonna miss you" "I'll miss you too, whenever you're down you can come see me" I told him "I will" he said.
He gave me a quick peck on the lips and then I left his room and grabbed my bag and went to see Alissa and Tessa downstairs, we all hugged her parents goodbye then got into the car.

I'm running out of ideas for this story 🙈
