Sarah's POV

I packed a few more things into a box, yes I'm packing, not for me though. See now that Joanne and John are married their moving into a house they bought. I'm helping Joanne pack, well she's away on her honey moon and won't be back for another three days, so I'm getting a head start on her packing. I sighed sitting down on the couch. I could turn her room into an office, no more complaints about experiments, and well I don't know. It will be weird living on my own, I may have done it before but that was a different situation. There was a knock on the door, probably Sherlock. "Come in!" "Hey" I looked up to see Lestrade. "Hello Greg, what can I do for you?" "Just wanted to talk about something" he said nervously. "Which is?" "you and Sherlock are pretty serious now, right?" I nodded. "Now that your nothing going to live on your own, do you think you two will move in together?" I sighed. "Sherlock wants to, but I told him not just yet" "why?" "not ready for that much moving at once, my main focus should be on Nicholas, not on my relationship" I stated. "Don't your friends matter too?" "of course! I'm doing this for them! so they can live a normal life without worrying about my enemies" I explained. Where was he going with this? he already knew my reasons. He sighed "I worry about you, I've lost you once, I don't want to loose you again" I grabbed his hand " Greg your never gonna loose me" his eyes began to tear up. I got up and hugged him, "your my girl he whispered" "I always have been" I replied. It was true, after my father died Greg became like a father to me. "Promise me, if you need help, you will ask, don't do this alone" I smiled "don't worry old man, I won't"

Hey guys authors here. Sorry for a short chapter, but we just felt like we needed to bring Lestrade into this a bit more. Cause in this story he's more than the head of police who is sherlocks friend. He plaid such a big role in Sarah's life and we know is a fictional story, but even characters deserve to be appreciated.
