Gunfighter's POV:

I had JC stay in the cargo car behind the passenger car where I took a seat waiting for the man to come around collecting tickets. "Tickets." I heard someone say. I looked down the walkway to see the conductor coming down the aisle. I sat patiently waiting with a cigar still hanging between my lips, and noticed a news paper in front of me on the opposite seat. I raised an eyebrow when I looked to the front page to see an interesting title. Curious, and still waiting, I lit my cigar and put the match out before grabbing the newspaper to read what was so important. "Read the news lately?" Someone asked. I brought the paper down to show my eyes looking at a young man standing near my seat. "Mind of I take a seat here?" He asked pointing to the empty seat where the newspaper was. I tipped my head for him to join right before the man came around asking, "Tickets gentlemen?" I passed mine without dropping the paper as the man next to me did the same. "Those hunters saved a lot of people." I looked at the man as he punched our tickets before handing them back. "Hmm?" I asked not saying anything. "That article you're reading, a team of hunters apparently stopped a train bombing heading through the tunnel into Vale." "I heard about that!" The young man chimed in. "Didn't the tunnel collapsed when a train car derailed right before it made it to the end?" The conductor replied, "I'm not sure. All I can say is the trip we're about to embark is gonna be an hour longer. We have to go around near Forever Fall to get into Vale." I looked at them curious to what he said and asked, "Forever Fall?" They looked at me. "Yes." "Train stop there?" He shook his head and noticed some passengers joining so let without muttering another word. "Excuse me mister?" I looked at the man sitting across from me. "The closest you can get to Forever Fall by train is in the upper district in Vale. From there you can-" "It'll stop in Forever Fall." I interrupted shutting him up. I continued to read the paper to see what happen and saw something that caught my attention in the paper. Next to the man with the glasses, Oobleck, I saw someone wearing a red cloak. Having fun without me Red? I felt the train starting to move and finished reading the article. After putting the paper down I laid down on the seat as the train disembarked while putting my hat over my face to rest. As I started to drift off to sleep I couldn't help but think of the time I got so close to him. So close to the monster that savagely ripped my life away.

Gunfighter's Past:

(Y/N)'s POV:

Bloody Butte? Why the hell would he be in Bloody Butte? I asked myself. Searching for over two decades and the bastard's been hiding out right under my nose in Bloody Butte!? As pissed as I was I couldn't stay mad any longer...for now at least. Eager, adrenaline rushing to ever part of my body, and the experience I gain from all the gun fighting before hand. I was ready to finally put this fucker in a rope hanging off a nice tree. I wasted no time mounting JC and riding out there. I thought I had him. I honestly thought I finally dropped enough of his gang to finally get him, but damn was I wrong. I should've saw it coming. I got right on the edge to Bloody Butte valley before another damn gatling gun opened fired on me. "HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NOW GUNFIGHTER?" Some prick rhetorically asked as he kept the crank rotating, unleashing a hail of bullets down on me from a tall cliff looking over me. I quickly fell off JC and took cover behind some boulders as the bullets kept raining down. "COME ON FELLAS! I GOT 'EM PINNED HERE. KILL HIS ASS!" The man yelled as he slowed down he firing. As the gun started to heat up, he stopped firing, giving me enough time to look up where he was stationed and ducked back down right before he unjammed the gun and continued his suppressing fire on me. I heard some newcomers joining him and quickly reached into my satchel to pull a small bundle of dynamite out and looked back knowing what I was planning on doing. Right as I heard the gun jam up gain from the heating of the barrels, I jumped from behind the rock I hid behind and threw the bundle at the base of his cliff before pulling my colt navy out and firing at it. Right as I took a shot at it, the explosion ripped up the side of the cliff under him, and shoot a large chunk loose. The gatling gun, the asshole manning it, and some of his new friends all came tumbling over the side. "SHIT HE GOT JOHNNY!" One of the men on top yelled pointing down. Rather than waste time seeing if these fuckers were dead I shot the guy down to join them with me at the base. He fell dead before he even made it to the bottom. "COLEMAN!? WHERE THE HELL DID YOU G-" The last guy got his answer swiftly like the rest. One good shot into his forehead, giving him a new place to breath from. I quickly ran back to JC and took my shotgun from the side and tied him behind some rocks covered by a few dead trees. "Stay here JC. If I don't come back, don't wait up for me." I whispered-yelled before leaving him behind. More cautious than before, I stayed on the side of the road to view around the bend to make sure if anyone was waiting for me, I'd be able to fire at the first. Most of the road was clear, but the town I came too wasn't what I was expecting. A ghost town. Empty buildings, ran down saloon, collapsing sheriff's office. Everything was dead, and I don't mean the people. Why the hell would he hide out here!? I mentally asked myself while I took cover behind a fallen tree. I ducked down and reloaded my guns, made sure my others were loaded, then got up to walk into this town. Bloody Butte was its name, I'm gonna make sure it gets a reputation to go with it. I calmly walked through with a shotgun on my back. Three revolvers on my person, and a few sticks of dynamite in my satchel. Right as I came into the middle I felt my stomach drop when I knew I fucked up. I stopped just a few feet before the dead center of the town and observed some of the builds on my left, and right. "Shit." I muttered. I looked at the lip of my hat and took it off to place it where I was standing before ducking into a build right as I heard some doors open, followed by footsteps exiting them. I stood near the door where I entered to hear some voices coming from the men waiting for me. "Where did he go?" "Keep calm, and find him. It's one man against ten of you." I knew that voice was the man I was after. The sound of footsteps started to disperse around the abandoned town while the man with the glasses on his face stayed right in the center of the street. Ten huh? Gonna have to play this one close to the chest now. I thought to myself. I silently walked out a hole in the wall and took cover behind some wooden planks leaned against the side as two of the men came walking down the alleyway between my building and another. "Left." One of them said pointing his gun in the direction he told the other to go. I put my hand on one of my walkers calmly before pushing the plank down as they separated. In one swift motion I cocked the hammer and fired at them both with two rounds back to back before quickening my pace down the back side of the buildings leaving the two dead bodies behind me. Eight left. I entered a store house and closed the back door to see several barrels, crates, old hay bales, and other objects filling the old barn. I heard the sound of three pairs of spurs jingling, alerting me that three were closing in on my position. Rather than stay and fight the three out, I looked at my satchel and pulled one of my few bundles I had left and took a spot near the back door, but close enough for me to lob it right at them. "Here, let's check here." One of the three stated. I crouched down as the opened the front door and tossed it into the air, letting it land between them, they stared at it too long for themselves to move. I jumped up and took a shot at the bundle, causing it to explode between them, killing them in a ball of fire. "Get him damn it!" I heard one of the few alive yell. Five left. I too off jogging between buildings as they all focused on the barn that was painted with there three friends in the front. I managed to get on the other side of the street without being spotted and took cover inside what looked to be an old restaurant here in Bloody Butte. One of the last five armed men was standing near the window when I took the shotgun off my back and pointing the barrels right at the unsuspecting man's head. *BOOM* I squeezed the trigger and held on tightly as the gun jumped up, glass shattered, and the target fell forward...jerked forward was more like it. His head was gone, his neck painted a nice streak on the dirt road, while his body laid in a puddle of his own blood near the place where he last stood. "BEHIND US!" Another shouted, but was too late. I was already taking a new hiding place while they stormed into the place I hid last time, unloading every shot they had in their guns, leaving them without a single bullet. The sound of casings clattering onto the floor as they ejected them from the cylinders, I came around from my hiding place with one of my Colt Walkers in one hand, and the Colt Navy in the other. "You're out of bullets." I said getting their attentions. "And you know what that means?" I asked as a few of them put a round or two into their guns getting ready to take aim at me. Rather than finish what I was gonna say I systematically cocked one hammer after the other, firing off all my rounds into the last four, killing them indefinitely. As the sound of their bodies hit the floor I started to lower my guns. I looked out the bloody window to see the outline of the last man standing there in the street, standing there waiting for me. I holstered my guns and walked back to my last hiding place to grab my shotgun and exit out the back door. I quietly walked back to where I laid my hat and picket it up with my free hand. My other hand held my last, fully loaded Walker. The man quickly looked at me as I dusted my hat with my gun and put it back on before walking closer to him. He slowly moved his hand towards his gun, but stopped when I cocked mine right before I stopped nearly six feet away from him, looking at him in the eyes. We stood there, staring at each other waiting for someone to make the first move. My eyes wandered to his hip where his gun was hanging which instantly enraged me. The handle wasn't elongated, it was curved, much like a Colt Peacemaker by the looks of it. I looked back at his eyes with a murderous glare emitting from them. I could see it now, he wasn't the bastard that killed them , he was merely covering him long enough for me to quit chasing him. I saw his eyes shift from one ready to fight, to one not ready to die. He was getting scared, but it didn't matter. He wasn't gonna walk out. Right as he grabbed the butt of his gun I had mine already pointing at his face with the hammer coked back. His eyes emitted fear right from the soul as I held my gun at his face. "I don't kn-" I didn't bother to hear his excuse as I let a round loose onto his scared face. The sound of blood, chunks of his head, and his body hitting the ground was the last thing I heard next to the echoing of my gunshot.

Present POV:

Gunfighter's POV:

I felt someone poke my side and leaned up looking at the fool messing with me. I looked over to see the young man pointing to window which got my attention. The sky was dark, the stars were shining, and the train was passing through Forever Fall. The young man yawned and tiredly said, We're here. I don't see it stopping mister." I put my hat back on my head and looked out the window to see an old train stop coming up, so I got up and approached the rear door which lead to JC's car. I looked back as I put my hand on a lever saying, "It'll stop." And pulled the fire emergency. I held the side of the walls as I made my way back to JC while the train started to come to a screeching halt at my stop. I opened the side door and had JC jump out with me behind him before shutting it and waking him away from the train. "You there! What the hell are you doing. Why did you-" He stopped his questioning as he looked at me holding JC and looked as if he's seen a ghost. "If-if you wanted to get off here. You could've made an arrangement with the-" "I did get off." I finished for him. He nodded and jumped back on the train before he signaled for the driver to get moving as I walked away. As the train pulled away, JC stood still as mounted him and began to have him travel down a road that looked similar to one on the map and followed it. As I had JC stride down the road, I thought to myself if anyone would ever find his body out here in these parts of the woods. No one's gonna be brave enough to fetch a dead body of a notorious thief.
