???? POV:

I sat down by the entrance waiting for the old prick to show up. After all these years and he thinks he can still call the shots even after he said he couldn't get anything done like this. I took a sip of bourbon until I heard a horse trot up to the place. "He's here." I looked up at Nino holding his rifle in hand. "Thanks. Let the old man in." I ordered not looking at the door any more. He still had the same light steps like always, the sound of his cane hitting the hard wood outside said enough that he hadn't changed much. Nino opened the door to let him which had me say, "Look who came crawling back." I stopped leaning back in my chair and sat forward over the table staring at him. "Good to see you too. I see you've been taking care of the gang since my departure." I growled at his mockery and pulled my gun on him. 'Look here you old fuck. You turned and left for something that didn't help you for sh-" He quickly slapped my hand with his cane knocking my gun away and pulled his same damn revolver out cocked. "Now you hold that tongue of yours. I came here not to take back my gang that I put together, so shut up and listen." He took a seat, but kept his gun out while Nino stood behind him ready to shoot him in the head in silence. He poured himself a drink with my glass and passed it to me before saying what he had to offer. "You and I both know the gunfighter's still out there." I scoffed and said, "No wonder you came back. Let me guess! You want us to finally get rid of him?" He smirked and sat back in the other chair while replying, "Glad to see you haven't lost your train of thought. He's back again, and he's after me." I laughed and took the shotgun from under the table to aim at him. "Let me tell you something Oz. We don't need this kind of trouble again, so why don't you pick your gun up, and leave. We survived this long, and don-" "Ten million lien." He interrupted. "Huh?" He looked at me still keeping his smirk on his damn face saying, "Ten million lien for his head. I want you all to kill him. I already got what I wanted from him, so he's of no use to me." I put the shotgun down on the table and leaned back after hearing what he offered. "Why now?" Nino asked from behind. He chuckled before answering the big man's question. "Because he's nothing but a loose cannon now. What I've been searching for has been right there in front of me the whole time, and he knows where I plan on heading. I want you all to kill him. Ten million for his life." Several of the other guys came out from their respective hiding places which caught Ozpin off guard as I took the drink he poured for me. "Ten million hmm?" He nodded while keeping his hand near his gun. "Fifty million, and we'll bring you his corpse and guns still in their holsters." His smirk faded into a scowl and said, "Twenty no more." I took my drink and swallowed before saying, "Forty no less, and we'll never look for you ever again." He sighed sounding frustrated and said, "Forty million then, but I want one of his guns. The Engraved Colt Navy he keeps with him at all times. That with his body, and you'll get your reward." I stood up as he did and extended my hand. 'Then we have a deal!" He took it not smiling anymore and said, "Deal." As he got back on his horse I looked back at Nino saying, "Round up the men Nino. We're finally gonna finish off the last gunfighter of Remnant."

Cinder's POV:

I felt my side burn in pain as I dredged through the mud and rain after she left me in Emerald Forest to my fate. "Fucking bitch." I muttered while trying to see where the hell I was going. First Roman was killed, then Emerald at Beacon. Now Mercury and Neo were found dead at Junior's Bar in Vale along with Junior himself along with several of his bodyguards. He's hunting us one by one, and now it's just me he's after. That fucking gunfighter, he just won't quite. I groaned in pain as I put my hand back on my side while finally coming to a clearing to see a small town. "Finally!" I muttered hoping I don't die now. Her words still kept repeating in my head as I limped faster getting away from these damn woods as fast as I could. "You failed me for the last time Cinder. I won't tolerate this again." I had it! I fucking had the fucking Fall Maiden's powers and poof! Gone just that like that from one goddamn bullet!I sighed frustrated, pissed, and in pain as I finally got to the edge of the town where someone spotted me and waltzed over asking, 'Are you okay miss?" My throat was dry, I was starving, bleeding, so honestly It felt good to finally have someone help me. "No." I croaked before nearly falling to my knees which got the man to quickly grab me. I started to feel my eyes start to shut while I faintly heard him say, "I got yo-" Darkness came over me. Salem scared me enough, but this felt equally as horrifying. I never knew if she'd have me killed, or wanted to torment me for my failures, but I got something she doesn't. I know I where I can become more powerful, but I have no damn idea where it is, or even if it exists. My head started to pound ferociously as I started to open my eyes to see the same man who helped me earlier sitting at a table reading a book. "Your awake I see. I'll go get you something to eat. You're dehydrated ,and after hearing your stomach, I'd say your hungry aren't you?" I nodded and tried to get up, but soon stopped when my side jolted in pain. After he left I looked around to see this place. The walls made of wood, no pictures, nothing said anything about this guy. I heard some plates clattering before the man in black came back in with a tray and set it down at the table next to me and helped me sit up before taking his spot back in his seat. 'So how did a lady like you end up in Emerald Forest with a gunshot like that?" He asked without showing any emotion in his face. As I took a drink of water I finally had the voice to speak and said, "An old enemy I made." He looked away and started to pull something from a chest near him as I ate. I looked at his every action unsure what he was doing, but then it clicked. Dressed in black, no name, a gun at his hip. Mercury, Emerald, and Neo all saw him before Beacon. As he turned around I looked at him scared, saying, "Yo-you're hi-him! Your the guy Mercury and Emerald saw at the saloon!" He smirked and replied, "I guess there's no point in hiding it is there?" He unwrapped a gun from a cloth rag and handed it to me butt first. "I need you to do something for me Cinder." I stopped moving as I looked at the gun in his hand, the emerald green color was enough to tell me it was Emerald's. "What do you need me for? How do I know y-" 'I want you to find the gunfighter and kill him." He interjected. His smirk was gone and looked more serious. "Why me? I can't take him in a gunfight!" He stared at me and said, 'You want power yes?" I felt my entire body freeze at those words. "Pa-power? How did y-" 'I know a lot of things Cinder. I know you were tossed aside by Salem, I know you were responsible for Beacon, and I know you want to have the power to assert your revenge on the pale woman." I lost all words to counter what he just stated. "I want you to kill the gunfighter for me. Do that and I'll give you he power to rule over Salem, and her domain." I looked at him bewildered and cautiously took the gun, but soon stopped when I asked, "How do I find him? I don't know where to start." He gave me the gun without question before turning a large paper over on the desk he was sitting at. He then turned away and walked back into the other room before I got up and followed him to see he was gone. "Wha-" I was about to ask, but soon focused back on the paper he turned over for me. I went over to the desk and noticed it was a map. Various towns marked, but what stood out was the large circular area on the map near the edge. I studied the whole thing, taking the names in, the quickest way to each town up until I reach Sad Hill Cemetery. That's where he wants me to go? A cemetery!? I looked at Emerald's Revolver and took note on how to unload, and reload it before heading outside to test my sim with it. His words now filled my head with all sorts of ideas on how I plan to get my revenge on Salem for abandoning me one last time. "I want you to kill the gunfighter for me. Do that and I'll give you he power to rule over Salem, and her domain." One thing did however still linger in the back of my mind, a simple question which still scares me to find the answer; Who was that man in black?

Gunfighter's POV:

I sat in my seat while waiting for the train to depart as the conductor walked down the aisle stopping at every seat where someone sat asking for their tickets. "Tickets?" I looked up at the kind elderly man and handed him my ticket. "Thank you." He said walking away as I sat there. I sat closes to the end with my weapons still rolled up laying next to me. I heard the man shout as the train was preparing to depart, and took my hat off to put over my head for me to sleep easier. As I adjusted myself putting my feet on the empty bench across from me I noticed a red cloak laying over another seat near me which felt oddly familiar, but paid no mind to it as I drifted off to sleep once the train jerked forward heading to its first destination. I could faintly hear some people's conversation above the engine pulling the train cars behind it, but something caught my attention. "You know it's dangerous to be out here alone miss." I heard someone say, but the person who responded was enough to get my full attention. "I trained for this mister. I can handle myself." That voice, that sounded all too familiar. I slowly lifted my hat for me to faintly see where it was coming from, and behold it was the same place where I saw the all too familiar cloak. I put my hat down and kept listening occasionally until the train reached its first stop where the man sitting there got up saying, "Well this is my stop. Take care miss." "You too mister!" As everyone walked away I lifted my hat again to see her looking out the window with her head leaned against it as the train moved down the tracks which gave me enough time to get up and grab my guns. I took them and calmly walked over where the gentleman sat and took a seat after putting my guns on the top rack for small luggage. She didn't bother pay attention to me seeing how her eyes were closed, her head resting up against the glass, and me sitting across from her. She mumbled something i her sleep occasionally, but soon the train horn woke her up in horror as her eyes fell on me. "Mind telling me what you're doing out here Ruby?" I asked without any emotion in my voice. She swallowed hard as she tried to utter a word as I looked at her disappointed, but soon she finally managed to say something. "I was lo-looking for you! Yeah I was looking for you!" I kept staring down at her before she sighed and looked at her feet not bothering to say anything else. "You found me, now mind explaining why?" She didn't bother looking up at me when she said, "I...I wanted to tag along with you. TO find Ozpin." I growled in frustration and said rather sharply, "Ruby, are you insane girl!? Do you not know what I'm gonna do when I find him!?" She looked up at me hurt, and near tears, but soon took charge as she nearly yelled back at me. "I want to know why Ozpin killed my only uncle after he said you told him some things!" I was moved a bit. I never thought she'd have it in her to fire back at me without hesitation unlike others I've came across in my life time. "Killed your uncle?" I asked genuinely confused. She nearly sobbed as I felt some guilt take hold of me and asked rather calmly, "Ozpin killed you uncle? Qrow?" She nodded without looking at me and pulled her scroll out for me. As I listened to what he said I looked at her as she kept staring out the window and passed her devise back to hr not bothering to hear the end. I took a deep breath as she put it away and looked at me with fire in those silver eyes of hers. "Ruby, there some things you need to know if you're gonna tag along with me. First off, this out here, this is lawless country. No police, no hunters, or huntresses will save you let alone help. You mention about being a huntress, and you'll be in a world of hurt, so keep your mouth shut on that. Secondly, I no longer abide by Beacon's rules, so there will be dead people piling up wherever I go." She nodded and kept listening as I spoke. "Ozpin's no fool, and by now has people hunting me for a nice price. Be ready to any time any place we go. If he's out here then I think I know where he's heading." "Where?" She asked. I looked at her before replying, "I'll let you know when we get there. Who ever he sends after us Ruby, be ready to kill them because they won't hesitate with you. Out here, no one will know who killed you, and seeing you here means no one knows where you ran off too." She looked away which said enough that I was right.
