After taking a shower, I immediately prepared the bed so I can sleep early. Tita Margaret was busy talking about business-related matters over the phone so I headed upstairs. I can't talk to Mavvy nor to his friend, Yohan. They are both annoying silly creatures that I can never bear to be around with. Mababadtrip lang ako.

Papatayin ko na sana ang lampshade sa bedside table nang bigla namang may kumatok. I thought it was tita so I quickly crawled out of the bed to open the door. Pero hindi rin ako tuluyang nakababa dahil pumasok na ito.

"Ops. Don't bother, Frappie. I just want to let you have a glass of milk," wika nitong nagpagulat sa'kin.

Naupo nalang din ako ng maayos. Kahit nag-aalinlangan ay tinanggap ko parin ang baso ng gatas na iniabot niya.

"Thanks. But you don't have to do this."

"Frappie, pamangkin ko 'yan," nakangiting sabi niya na nagpakonsensiya sa'kin.

"I need your brother, Mavvy," I whispered softly, trying so hard not to break down. "You talked to him, right?"

"There you are again," he sighed and his eyes were sad again. "Blair, please? Don't cry, please?"

Sumikip 'yong dibdib ko habang sinasalubong ang mga mata niyang sobrang lungkot. Bumalik din lahat ng sakit na naramdaman ko no'ng araw na hiniwalayan ako ni Raven.

"Ano'ng sabi niya sa'yo? Ayaw niya akong makita? Na nagsisinungaling ako?" sunod-sunod na tanong ko na tuluyan ng nagpaluha sa'kin. "Palagi kong naiisip, where did I go wrong? Or maybe, I was just a mistake in his life in the first place. Kaya siguro ganon nalang kadali sa kanyang iwan ako," I paused to catch my breath. "Why don't people love me, like truly love me? Gano'n ba ako kahirap mahalin? Pangit ba 'yong ugali ko? Ang hirap ko bang pakisamahan?"

I remembered everyone; everyone in my family, the people I thought were my friends, my parents and then, Raven. Perhaps, they were right all along. I'm just a girl with the face, no wits, no talents. Basically, useless.

"Gusto kong sagutin 'yang mga tanong na 'yan. Kaya lang, baka maniwala ka e."

"You can be honest with me. I love honest people."

"Ahem. Really? So," he said with a wide smile. "I love you too."

"What?"

"I'm an honest person, you know," he even explained.

"Ugh. I should've known better." Napasimangot ako saka nagpunas ng luha. "You're a psycho."

I wanted to protest but I don't have the strength to push him away when he stopped me from drying my tears and did it for me instead with the back of his hand.

"I'll kill Raven if he doesn't marry you. I promise, Blair," seryosong wika niya.

"Thanks, Mavvy. I mean, not that I want you to kill him..." Napangiti kaming pareho. "Dalawang araw palang kitang nakilala pero ilang ulit mo na akong nakitang umiyak. Don't you know, nobody has ever seen me cry, not even my bestfriend."

Oh well, except for that day that his brother broke up with me. Or that day we found out Raphie was pregnant. Pero during my emotinal breakdowns, I was so good in keeping it all to myself.

"I'm unlucky then," pahayag ni Mavvy na nagpatitig sa'kin sa kanya. "I hate to see you cry."

Bigla akong nailang. Nanlamig bigla ang paligid.

"You know what, you have to go. I'll knock down. Inaantok na ako eh."

"Okay. Inumin mo muna 'yang gatas para ako na din ang magdala niyang baso pababa."
