Chapter 16. Heartbreak

  Lisa's POV

I stay at home the whole day. I've waited for Jennie to come home. It's 8 pm but she's still not home.

I contact Jisso and Rose if they're with Jennie but they said No. I am so worried .

30 minutes passed when a car stopped outside the house.

I check through the window and watch who came.

It's Jennie. I smiled and feel relieve.

But

Someone step out of the car. Ohh i thought its Jennie's car but i guess someone brought her home.

I look at the guy. Taehyung ? ??

They're talking outside. They look so happy together. Hmm 😞

I was about to go to our room when i saw V slowly lean his face to Jennie. 😠

Jennie was busy with her bag and didn't notice that V is about to kiss her.

When she lift her head. The guy cupped her face and kissed her.

A tear fell from eye. I couldn't take it anymore.

I leave my spot and went to our room.

She hurt me again 😭

I thought I'm gonna make it up to her today but no.

I stood up and went beside the door. I wait for her to come in.

Jennie's POV

I was about to go home when i met V in the hallway. He offered to bring me home so i said yes . it's late already..

While we're on the road . i took my phone and read messages from Jisoo and Rosé.

"hey where are you Jennie? Lisa's looking for you" 11:25 am - Jisoo

"Lisa's worried about you. Where are you unnie ? " 5:30 pm. -Chaeng.

I smiled upon reading their messages and got excited to go home.

When we finally arrive, i rushly step out from the car .V came after .

I thank him and smiled at him.

I replied Jisoo and rosé and put my phone on my bag.

I was startled when i saw V an inch away from me. But what really shocks me was that he cupped my face and kissed me.

I couldn't move. I was still processing what's happening rn then i used all my force to push him away.

I slapped him. Hardly.

Jennie ? I'm sorry . i like you . a lot.
He said while trying to hold me but i step away from him.

What? Are you insane ? We're just friends.
You disrespected me .
I shouted at him.

Why can't you like me Jennie ? I'll do everything for you. He said .

I like someone else V. And I'll never like you . i said and about to leave.

Was it Lisa ha? Jennie ? He said loud enough for me to look back.

You don't care. I don't wanna see your face again. Get lost. I said and went inside ..

I enter the house and my eyes search for Lisa. Maybe she's in our room.

I went straight to our room and open the door.

I was shock when Lisa grab my arm and pinned me in the wall.

Her eyes look like she just cried.

I look at her. She smiled. Sadly.

I thought I'm gonna make it up to you tonight but i was wrong. 😞😑

She said. Why is she crying ? Ohmygod. Did she saw it. ? 😱 no.

Uh Lisa? What are you saying? Why are you crying ? I ask her softly.

Why do you always hurt me Jennie ? All i did was to love but all you did also was to hurt me . she said while crying.

Lisa ,it's not what you think. Okay? Listen to me.
I said and held her hand.

But she didn't replied. She just look at me and kissed me. Hardly.

This isn't how she kissed me. 😭

My tears fell down as i let her kissed me.

She stop when she noticed that i was crying. She wiped my tears.

I'm sorry Jennie. Don't cry okay ? I'm not gonna hurt you. This will be the last time. I won't bother you again. You're free now.

She said and smiled. She let go of me and turned her back. She went to her bed and lay there .
