"JAMES" Kara yelled at the top her lungs, she desperately grasped on the ledge "please see me, I'm sorry that I kissed Lena" she apologised not that anyone could hear her

Her head fell in silent defeat

I saw a few flashes of light, and I heard my name being called but I still pressed the button, with a smirk on my face I watched the building explode, there is no way Kara can survive that, I turned back to the Camera

"And this is the day that National City's Angel falls"

Alex POV

I finally arrived at the explosion, James and a few children of Liberty were laughing together

"what did you do?" I growled at him, my gun raised at his face

"Supergirl is dead" He spat back

Tears swelled in my eyes "No your lying, you have to be lying"

"Your little Kara is gone Alex, and their is nothing you can do about it" James whispered in my ear

"Check the site" I yelled at my men, and taking a deep breath I knock James unconscious.

*spongebob narrator voice* A few moments later

Tears poured from my eyes as the DEO agents arrived with Kara's cape and 'S' Logo in their hands

"That's all that left Ma'm"

I took it from their hands "We have to announce this, Kara isn't going to die in vain"

At Catco filming area

I took a deep breath "I'm Director Danvers of the DEO, and today I'm here to announce some devastating news, Supergirl is dead..."

"...She was killed in the Line of duty By The Children Of Liberty And James Olsen, But her death isn't going to be in vain, I beg you America, look at the Damage these people have caused, our hero has died trying to protect you, so stop this madness and let us end Agent Liberty Reign Over us"

The camera cut, Tears fell from my eyes once again

I saw Lena run in, and hug me, we both cried on each other's shoulder

"This is my fault" she whispered

I pull away gently "Why would this be your fault"

"Because we kissed, and James walked in, he must have been jealous to the point he kil..." her voice trailed off

Lena took a deep breath as she stood before the Monument "Today is a solemn day for America, our Heroine has fallen, she died protecting us from ourselves, and now I'm going to play a video, she left this if ever her death occurred"

The screen appeared and the video rolled, a few gasp came from the crowd as the blonde appeared on the screen

The video cut, Lena wiped her tears away, she stood down from the stage as an empty casket with the 'S' logo as brought onto the stage.

Alex took out a piece of paper "I'm going to read a kryptonian prayer.."

"..May the light of Rao shine on your people, and may the people respond with Glee during this sad time, This fallen soldier isn't going to be the last, but we carry one despite the pain it delivers, and we never forget the sacrifice that was paid, you will forever be in our hearts Kara Zor-el"
