"No this isn't fair" Kara lifted her glasses so she could wipe her teary eyes

Lena sighed "Darling you know I have to do this, it's for our safety. I will always love you and you know that"

Kara stood up "No I can't let you through with this, if you find out our trust will be broken. I'll be loving someone who can't tell the truth to. It's hard enough to loose Alex like this I can't loose you too"

Lena kissed her girlfriend tenderly, she wiped away a tear with the back of her hand gently "I still love you, it will just be slightly different"

"Come on Kara we have to do this" J'onn said sadly

Kara let go of Lena, the luthor let J'onn press his hand against her pale forehead

"I'm ready"

Kara put on her glasses and took a deep breath

A few seconds later J'onn released, Lena opened her eyes and turned to Kara "Why are you crying love?"

"I was just thinking about how snakes don't have arms" The blonde lied, though that still upset her.

Lena kissed her gently "Come on let's go get some potstickers" She beckoned Kara to the entrance "Very nice place you have J'onn"

Later that night

Lena was working at her desk when she heard a knock at her balcony window, she looked up to find Supergirl, she opened the window and let the Heroine in

"What can I do for you?" Lena asked coldly

Kara winced slightly at the tone "I just wanted to check on you Ms. Luthor"

"That won't be necessary, we aren't friends and we certainly don't know each other well enough for this" Lena seemed to dismiss Kara, the luthor returned to her desk

"Goodnight Ms. Luthor" Kara flew off with tears stinging her eyes.

When she got back to her apartment she collapsed on her sofa, there was a knock on her door. She quickly changed and slipped her glasses on, the blonde opened the door to her sister

"Hey Alex"

The red head smiled and handed her sister a bag of sweets "Can we talk?"

"Ok course"

The sisters sat down, Alex cleared her throat "So I'm having trouble with Supergirl, I know she wants to do good but it would just be better if she stopped and I want to tell her but-"

Kara bit back more tears "I can deal with it if you want, sometimes I contact her"

"Are you sure? I don't want to bother" Alex set her hand on Kara's knee gently

"Yeah of course"

The red head grabbed a sweet and put it in her mouth "So how is Lena?"

"She good yeah, we went on a lunch date"

"You seem of, Are you ok?" Alex sounded genuinely concerned

"Yeah I just didn't get much sleep, some stupid article"

The director cuddled into her sister "well I'm sure you will do a good job"

Kara bit her lip "Yeah so do I"
