Eve, Lena secretary ran in "The building is in lockdown"

"Mercy's here" Lena sighed

Kara made her way to the door "We can stay here"

Lena pulled a box out of the drawer "I know but wait, put these on it's a sonic attack"

The Kryptonian looked at the little ear pieces but just stuck them in her pocket

"Mercy has control of the hole building, how?" Eve asked

"Mercy built the system"

Kara went for the door again

"Kara wait you can't go out there were on lockdown"

"Well...Um..s-should I hide in a closet or something" The Heroine pretended to be scared

Lena gently put her hand in Kara's "The best place for you two be is with me" she turned to Eve "Since i installed the firewall the only way for her to get in is manually"

A screen behind her turned on, Mercy chuckled coldly "Well, well I love the Reno Lena but I'm a little surprised you put the hole system online, so unlike you" the screen turned off

Eve scoffed "Well she's fun"

"Well What's The plan do we split up" Kara asked

"Absolutely not, safety in numbers"

The trio sprinted down the hallway, a bunch of mercenaries chased after them, as soon as they started to fire Kara pushed the other women away

"Watch out" She caught the bullets and sent them back

Lena went back to Kara "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, Mercy must of hired really bad mercenaries, they totally missed me"

The women walked into an elevator and Lena pressed the button

The screen in the elevator switched to Mercy "I always wondered what the house of Lena would look like, but this is more innovated than even I-"

Lena cut her off "You under estimated me, it's insulting"

The door opened, "what did she mean by that?" Kara asked but she didn't get a response

Suddenly a door closed in front of them, Swiftly the blonde turned around and blocked the other door from closing

When Lena noticed she raised a brow

"Glitch in the system" Eve offered

"I dunno" Kara fixed her glasses nervously

"Ok Eve you go to the main frame and Kara and I will go to my lab" The CEO ordered

The blondes obeyed and went there separate ways

"What is this place" Kara asked

"My lab, where I keep all my experimental prototypes- don't put that on paper"

"You have my word"

They went over to a table

"You mother's Lexo suit" Kara observed

"Yeah it's in pieces, Wait the right arm is miss- Mercy took the bigger gun"

Suddenly the door opened and Mercy graves came waltzing in "I have to hand it to you, this is such a beautiful instrument of death"

"That's not what it's for"

"I can show how to fight the aliens"

"I don't want to fight them"

Mercy scoffed "Well isn't that what L-Corp is all about, your fight for control and superiority"

"No it's about doing good for the world and helping clear the Luthor name"

Mercy walked around the table "Do you remember when you wouldn't show Lex your inventions until they were perfect, remember what he used to say"

"Yeah he would call them cute and that I should make them pink"

"This is exactly what he was afraid off, that you would outshine him, I know what you want to resist...but you are just like me, you don't just want to be the best, your are the best"

The Luthor scoffed "Oh I know I'm the best, your the one not living up to your full potential, you've chosen a side I would never do that"

Mercy was getting annoyed "All you care about us lining your pockets"

Kara butted in "Yeah also she isn't a murderer so-"

"Maybe that's because she hasn't tried"

Before Lena could activate the other hand Mercy took a shot.

Almost in slow motion Kara threw herself in front of Lena, Her back to the brunt of the blast, despite the stinging sensation she was feelings she held on

Tears spilled from Lena's eyes as she tried to pull away "Kara let go your going to die if you take another hit"

The blonde shook her head "Not in hell I'm letting you go"

Mercy took another shot, this time it burned Kara's pink shirt

Desperately the young Luthor tried to pull away

"What are you?" Mercy asked

Kara turned around and took a shot to the stomach but barely flinched

"Doesn't matter what I am, but if you touch one hair on Lena's hair, you will pay" Kara charged forward Mercy and pined her to the wall

"You're Supergirl, Well isn't that a betrayal of trust Lena" Mercy laughed

A look of regret fell on the kryptonian, before anyone could say anything a team of DEO agents arrived and took mercy away.

"You...you-" Lena struggled for words

"Look..I can explain"

"You risked your identity to save me.."

Kara's mouth fell open "Lena, I would die for you"

"Why I'm a Luthor. My family has done nothing but hurt yours" Lena started to cry, but she wiped the tears away

"Because I like-like you-" Kara clasped her hand over her mouth before she could say anything else

"Did you just....I can't believe it. I thought your crushes only liked you back in movies" The CEO laughed

The reporter joined her "Can I maybe take you on a date when I get a change of clothes"

"Of course"
