Also wtf my book is currently ranked #1 in Supergirl thanks guys

Kara walked into her shared apartment to find Lena sitting at the counter with a glass of wine in her hands, along side her stood an empty bottle.

"Hey long day?" Kara said rubbing her girlfriend's back gently

"Yeah, I know something is up with you" Lena slurred as she fell into the blonde's arms

"I'm fine, why do you think I'm not" Kara carried her girlfriend to the sofa

Lena whined as she was being lifted "because when you keep a secret, crinkle" She poked her girlfriend's crinkle

"That damn crinkle" Kara said sarcastically "well lee your right, but your too drunk to talk about it"

"But I wanna"

"How about tomorrow, it's Saturday after all, so we can sleep in and talk"

"Ok fine"

Next morning

Kara woke early to the sound of bank alarms going off, she groaned in annoyance as she made sure Lena was still asleep so she could sneak out to 'save the day'

Lena woke a few hours later, when she walked to the kitchen she found a note saying

Hey lee, gone out for a few errands, I'll be back soon

Lena decided it would be a good time to prepare a meal for her girlfriend's monster of an appetite, a few minutes Kara came through the door with a plastic bag in her hand. Her hair was disheveled and she had some dirt on her face; never mind the fact that her clothes were barely tucked in

"I can explain, a car nearly ran me over so I dived out of the way and this happened" Kara lied as she set the grocery bag on the table

"So now talk to me, I'm always complaining about my problems"

Kara took a deep breath "Around a week ago, J'onn wiped your mind of a secret about me"

Lena scoffed "Wait really why?"

"Because it wasn't safe for you to know it. Anyone I love who knows this secret is put at risk; people out their would kill you if they knew that secret was linked to you"

"Kara it's fine, it's not like your Supergirl or anything"

Kara's face visibly scrunched up, she offered no response

"Hold on your Supergirl and J'onn had to wipe that memory"

"Yes and it has been killing me. All I want is to give all of my to you and I can't do that"

"I'm so sorry Kara, if had of known I wouldn't have treated-"

"No Lena, stop this is all my fault. If I hadn't become Supergirl I wouldn't suffer anymore"

"And the hundreds of lives you saved, what about them?" Lena said putting down a plate with eggs and bacon on it

"I just wish everything could just stop and I could breathe, take one breath and have some peace"

Lena set her hand on Kara's "I want that to but life isn't fair. But we keep living and either way I'm by your side, I love you"
