"Really, these two." Someone mutters and I ignore it. Who will come here this early? And nobody knows the passcode of this unit. Except for . . .

"Nate, Nat, wake up! You are all late."

Kuya Mike?

Nate sits abruptly from his sweet sleep. "What?" and blurts out. "Why you didn't wake me up, Hime?"

"I don't know." I say lazily while rubbing my eyes. "I was asleep."

"You two are not going to school?" says Kuya Mike.

I sleepily face Nate. "You want to go to school?"

"Nah, huwag na lang." he replies with equal tone as mine.

Napangiti ako sinabi ni niya. Yay, walang papasok sa boring school na iyon.

"Oh? You seem so happy, Hime." Nate notices.

I nod as a respond, and my grin grows wider. "No class."

"Well, generally, there's a class today."

"Eh?" I irk in confusion. "I know, but we're not going to attend school."

"So, that's it, huh?" Nate grins and then he tucks the loosened hair to my ears.

"Yup." I answer back. "However, it'll boring if we're going to stay here."

"Well, yeah." Nate says, "Do you have plans for this day?"

I make face. Right. I have no plans. I shake my head, telling Nate that I don't have one.

"As I expected." He murmurs, "But I have."

"What's it? What's it?" I smile with an excite on my face.

"In my home." he tells me with a kind of cool smile. "You know, Hime, we can talk forever in my house. Then, we'll watch our favorite movies together. We can play games, we can cuddle on my bed, or maybe—"

"Shut it." I say obnoxiously. Plans? In his home? Oh, please. For I know, he'll just going to bully me.

"You guys, I'm gonna leave."

Nate and I gazes where the voice comes from. "Oh, Kuya Mike. Nandyan ka pala." I say.

"Yo, Kuya! You really lack presence, don'cha?" Nate greets him as well. "I honestly didn't notice yah."

"Oh, don't worry." Kuya Mike replies with a sarcastic tone, "I don't mind. I have a similarity to shadow, y'know."

"Blah." I almost roll my eyes, "Just get a date, Kuya, it will help you."

He scoffs, "That's . . . comforting, thank you."

Ugh.

He's about to leave, but I quickly stand up and chase him. Grabbing his one arm, I make him halt on his pace. "Kuya Mike, wait."

He turns his head to my direction with his creased brows. "Yeah."

"Well, on the other side . . . Let's have a date." I smile.

"Date?"

"Yes," I shrug, "the big brother and little sister date."

I see a small grin lines across his face, "Sure, little girl, why not."
