sequel This is a sequel to "bad boy//jack avery", so if you haven't read that this probably won't make much sense. Go read it, it won't take that long.
cast The cast is the same from the first book. There may be some people missing and there will be at least one new character. (i'm not going to "cast" the new character you decided what they look like/ who they are.)
flashbacks There will be flashbacks throughout the book and they will be the paragraphs in italics
timeline If you read the last book you know Jack proposed 5 years after. I'm changing that to 2 years meaning they would be 18 when he proposed. They're 22 now. Margot has completed law school.
