Mark POV (continued)
"I'll need Mark's help for that" Jackson said looking over at me. I nodded, and we started explaining everything. Neither Minyoung nor Jinyoung showed any kind of expression while we were confessing everything.
When we were done, nobody said a word.
"Why didn't you ask me Jackson?" Minyoung finally broke the silence
"Ask you what?" Jackson seemed confused
"You could have told me that you wanted to see her, I could have called her, and she could have come here"
"I thought of that... but I was very unthoughtful. I was just selfish I'm so sorry guys" he apologized again
"The dude might be after us and now it's all Jackson's fault" Yugyeom said
"He didn't yet. He might be. We have to be careful now. Really careful" Jinyoung said looking over at Jackson
"I'm telling my friends to have a lookout on anything suspicious" Minyoung took out her phone
"They already know Jackson left?" Jinyoung asked
"Yeah I was with them when you called me" She answered walking away to talk with her friends. Jackson and I were left with Jinyoung, Youngjae, Yugyeom and Jaebum.
"I'm going to try to endure all of this" Yugyeom looked at us in disbelief and walked upstairs. Youngjae just looked at us and left.
"Jaebum?" said Jackson
"I'm sorry..." he said faking a smile and looked pitiful while walking out of the living room.
"I never should have done this..." Jackson hid his face in his hands
"Don't worry Jackson... it'll pass... just... life is harder for us now... especially for Minyoung" Jinyoung explained comforting Jackson
"I know... I feel so guilty it's all my fault"
"I am to blame too I should have never let Jackson leave" I finally said after staying silent for so long
"Stop blaming yourselves. Even though it is your fault, you can't blame yourselves forever. You have to make up for what you have done" Jinyoung said
"I don't understand... why are you not mad at us? Neither you nor Minyoung are mad at us, compared to the others" I asked
"I think it's just that... we know being mad won't solve anything... and... I honestly don't know why... we just feel this way." Jinyoung smiled slightly and patted our backs in comfort "I am kind of mad deep down but... worry is taking over more than anger. I'll be in my room if you need anything" he smiled at us and left upstairs.
"We're terrible Mark" Jackson looked over at me
"I know"
"Why aren't you mad at me Mark? I made us go through this situation. I made you go through it along with me"
"I'm your best friend and I know what I did. Whatever you are responsible for I am too. I'm supporting you whatever Jackson. But this was a bad idea. Neither of us thought of the consequences"
"Let's just go to our room and figure this all out" Jackson got up
"I need a shower to get my mind off of things" I stood up too and we walked to our room.
Minyoung POV
I went up to my room to tell my friends that Jackson is okay. Jeonghan and Minghao even volunteered to come visit but I told them that it isn't the right time. I texted them on our group chat.
Me: Guys Jackson is fine
Jeonghanie<3: Thank god why did he even leave
Me: to see Dahyun
Hansol: Dahyun? As in the Dahyun I know?
Me: Yh. They apparently were friends when they were in highschool. Close friends tbh
Gyuu😉: so he just left to see her? Love can make u do anything tbh
Me: mark even helped him
Momo <3333 : wtf really?
Me: yh
Haneul😉<3: at least he s okay now I guess. We have to be real careful now tho
Josh😊: yh
Me: anyways Joshua what did you want to tell us?

Me: alright
China Prince: do you want Jeonghan and I to come over Minyoung?
Me: no it's fine it's not the right moment rn
China Prince: k
Haneul😉<3: guys Hansol and I are dating

Me: obv I already knew that

Me: okay okay bye now lmfaoo
I turned off my phone and laid on my bed closing my eyes. My life is damn hard right now. Then I heard someone knock on the door.
"It's me" I heard Jinyoung say
"come in" he opened the door, closed it behind him and sat next to me while I sat up
"You good?" he asked
"Yeah I guess"
"You told your friends yet?"
"Yeah I did. They're happy Jackson's okay" there was a long moment of silence. Then out of nowhere I laid my head on Jinyoung's shoulder and teared up a little.
"Jinyoung... why did this happen to us? Our lives are so hard just because of some dude that captured you, wants to kill us all to then kill our friend" I mumbled, and he wrapped his arms around me
"We'll get through this together Minyoung I promise you. It'll be over soon. I'm here it's all right. I know there's been a burden on your shoulders these days, but we are all here for you. And I imagine your friends are living the same thing as you, they're just not showing it like you are not"
"Thanks, Jinyoung... I needed that. I love you, you know that?" I chuckled
"I love you too Minyoung." He laughed. We then heard a knock on the door and Jackson and Mark came in. Minyoung and I got up. Jackson and Mark just wrapped their arms around us and we formed a group hug, while nobody said anything. Then I saw Jaebum pass by the open door. He started at us for a second then joined our hug. I heard other footsteps.
"Gosh I can't this is too emotional for me to be mad right now" I heard Yugyeom say
"Me too. Let's join" Youngjae answered
"Yah!" Jinyoung laughed while they joined the group hug. It felt good to be surrounded by people I love. Life is hard right now, but we can work it out. Together.
