Amrit's POV

I stood quietly trying to read his expression.

But his face was completely expressionless aa if he was still trying to process whatever I told him.

"Karn - - " I tried to speak.

"No it's alright" he said but I could feel a bit of disappointment in his voice.

"It's your choice whom you want to be friends with " He said with his convincing smile.

Thank god he is not pissed off.

"But as far as I can see, there will definitely be a war between Pandavas and Kauravas. Just don't get too close, that you will have difficulty to see anyone lose." He said in a serious tone.

I nodded as yes.

"I am going to take some rest" I said.
He nodded and then I left. I started running towards my room.

I know ,Karn. There will be a war between Kauravas and Pandavas. And now as you have mentioned, I am really in a big problem.
I have always known that Pandavas were the winner because they stood by dharma.
But how can a sister choose between two of her brothers?

I reached my room and locked the door. I sat at the ground and felt tears rolling from my eyes.

In the morning,

I got up and dressed up.

I wore a plain lehenga which I used to wear during practising with Karn. With that, I wore a pair of small earrings.

I went outside and saw Karn and Shon training Vrishasen and others.

I walked towards them.

"Amrit, come let's see if you have still remembered whatever you had learnt" Shon said as he saa me coming.

"Archery? I am ready" I said as I took a bow "But after that I want to sword fight" I demanded.

"What is between you and sword- fighting, Bua?" Chitrasen asked.

"The same thing which is between Karn and archery. No actually a bit less than that" I said with confidence.

After a few hours of practising, I went to chat with Vrushali, Supriya and Radha Kaki.

They told me the changes which happened to Anga in these two years. While I told them who I used to spend my time in Padmavan.

Well, I am already missing Padmavan. The peace, the surrounding, the environment there, the atmosphere used to make me feel so happy and calm.

After sometime, I was walking alone in the garden.

I was just relaxing when a thought came to my mind.

I moved my palms in a specific way and created a small cyclone, too tiny to cause any harm.

Wow!
This means I can really control wind. Not as I was doubting Vayu dev's word but..
This feels awesome.
But how is this even a part of my fate, my destiny.
What the hell is my destiny?
I can not think of any moment in Mahabharat were something related to wind happened.
Or maybe I just am unaware of that fact.

I was lost in all thoughts when Satyasen called me from behind.

"Bua, Pitashree had called you" He said as he stopped in front of me.

I nodded and then walked to Karn's room. He saw me and smiled.

"Amrit!" He said with a smile.

"You called me?" I asked as I walked inside.

"Yes. Actually Vasudev had sent a letter." He told me.

For a second, my mind was not able to recall who is Vasudev.

Are you becoming crazy, Amrit? You don't even remember Kanha's name.
Oh God! I need to see a doctor and have a check up of my brain.

"What had he written?" I asked as I saw Karn waiting for my response.

"He said he want to talk about your marriage" Karn replied seriously.

"What?" I asked confusedly.

Why is he behind my marriage?
I don't want to get married now.
Kanha!!
Why are you doing this to me?

"Did he really?" I asked to confirm.

He nodded as yes.

I don't want to get married!!
Someone help me!!

Author's Note

Happy New Year everyone.

So I am back from my short holiday, and guess what...

My exams are gonna start and I haven't started studying.

But still I am writing this story.

I really prefer writing this story than writing "His!".

That's because I became completely blank while writing His!.

And ya, a twist is going to come in this story in next few chapters.
