Amrit's POV

It was almost sunset.

"Ok kids, I should go now. Or your dear Queen would kill me" I said to the kids and then turned to Laksh.

He had a smile on his face.

"So..." I started to speak with a smile.

"Let's meet tomorrow in this place only" He interrupted and said.

"I won't mind that" I said with a smirk and started going.

"Wait, Rajkumari" He said.

"Yes?" I said while turning at him.

"Please don't tell about our meeting to the royal family. Actually Indraprasth and Parit are not in good terms right now." He explained to me.

I just nodded my head as yes and started walking.

Not in good terms?
Is there something I am overlooking?
Or am I just overthinking?
I hope the second one is true.

I returned to the palace and walked to Panchali's room. I slowly knocked the door.

She came and opened it.

"Amrit!" She said to too much excitement.

"Are you sure you are the queen? You sometimes remind me of a teenage kid." I said sarcastically.

I walked inside and sat on the bed.

"Where were you the whole day?" She asked angrily reminding me of my mother.

"I was just playing with the village kids." I told her not noticing the blush on my face.

"Playing with the kids..." She repeated after me. "I don't find anything in this to blush about."

This girl...
One can hide nothing from her.

"Ok. I confess I met a guy there." I finally confessed.

And I found him hot, cute, handsome.
He was very polite and mature
And almost like the guy I used to dream about.

"So do you like him?" She said being straightforward.

"How can one like or love someone in just one meet?" I questioned her.

"Ok. So what's his name and where is he from?" She asked.

"I will tell you everything when the time is correct and not now" I said while walking towards the door.

Because he had told me not to.

"Good night, maharani" saying so, I left her room and walked to my room.

But do I feel something for him?
Oh come on Ammu,
You can't like the person just met.
You can't fall only for his looks.
Kanha! I need your advice and your lectures which I can never understand.

I walked to my room and lay down on the bed.

Good night Ammu.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep very early.

Next day,

I woke up and went out of my room only to bump into a very happy Subu.

"Oh girl, calm down. Why are you so happy?" I said as I balanced myself from not falling.

"Satya Bhabhi has come" She said excitedly.

"Really?" I asked happily "Where is she?"

"In Draupadi Jiji's room" she told me and then ran to where she was initially going.
