Steve rogers #10

You picked up your phone to see Natasha ringing you. "Hello?" You asked her. She just left your house so you were confused on why she was calling. "Hey (Y/N) I forgot to tell you, you have a date tonight at 8 so get ready" she said. You could feel her smirk through the phone. "Nat no I'm not going" you said groaning. "Yes you are you have to" she said sternly. "Fine" you gave in.

You went for a shower and decided to straighten your (H/C) hair. You got into a     (Y/F/C) dress. You rarely wore makeup so you just decided to put lip balm on. You're very short so the black heels helped.

Nat came over just before you left to see what you wore. "You look amazing (Y/N)" she said. "Thanks Nat" you smiled. "Are you excited?" She asked. "Kinda, do I know who this dates with?" You asked. "Yes he's your friend but you aren't very close" she smirked. "Ok" you said a bit nervous. "Don't be nervous, he likes you I know that" she said giving you a hug.

Nat got you a cab and send you on your way. You arrived to a very fancy restaurant. You went to the desk and said your name. The waitress brought you to a table with a man sitting there. He wasn't facing you so you didn't see who it was.

When you looked it took you by surprise. "Steve?" You said shocked. "(Y/N) it's you" He said smiling. You sat down in front of him. "You look amazing" he said. "Thank you, you look very well" you said blushing.

You both ordered your meal. You talked for a lot of it but there was silence but not an awkward silence.

When your meals where done Steve began taking out his wallet to pay for both of the meals. "No no please, let me" You said with your purse in your hand. "No, I got it, it's fine" he said and his eyes looking like they were saying please. You gave in.

You left together and walked to a nearby park. He had his arm draped around your shoulder. For a first date it was the best one Nat has ever set up or you've ever been on.

It was pretty late and Steve said he'd walk you home. You made it home. He knew where you lived since you were friends but not very close. At the door you looked at him and then his lips.   "It's not like me on the first date but, could I kiss you?" He asked. You nodded and stepped on your tip toes and kissed him.

You made plans to go out in two days time to the cinema and you couldn't wait. When you closed the door you rang Natasha and told her everything.
