Chapter 74 - Intouch's Wrath

AE'S POV

"Ae, calm down, it's just that you can't contact Pete. It doesn't mean something has happened to him." 

"But his phone has been turned off for 2 hours already. Have you ever seen him like that?!" 

I know that everyone thinks that I am worried too much, but I have been calling him since this evening until now when the football team went out for a late night snack, but he still wouldn't answer the phone, even until I made the last call 5 minutes ago, I feel like I can no longer stay calm. I simply just can't continue accompanying them and joking around, so I have to take my leave first. Pond (who came because of the food) also followed me. 

"Hey, I know that you are worried about him, but P'Techno has just returned and invited his juniors to eat, at least you should show him some respect." 

"P'Techno will understand." 

I reply, and immediately call out a car near the entrance of the restaurant, I want to go back to the apartment as quickly as possible. Pond sighs deeply.

"Fine, then I will go with you, but if you find Pete safe and sound at home, you have to come back and continue to eat with us... I even asked ChaAm to join us." 

I completely ignore Pond's complaint. I tell the driver the address. I'm sitting on the passenger seat and feeling really worried until the taxi stops in front of my boyfriend's apartment.

At that time, I don't think about anything. I immediately rush towards the elevator and quickly swipe the card and press the floor number that I want to reach. 

There is no one in the corridor, nothing seems abnormal, but I still don't feel relieved at all, because I told Pete before that I forbade him to leave the phone. He didn't pick up the phone for 2 hours. Something must have happened. 

"See, nothing happened at all." 

Pond says to me, but I am still uncertain, I have to see him with my own eyes. 

<Creak>

I open the door with the key card, the door is quickly opened, and I go inside.

"Pete." 

The whole room is really dark. I am not feeling very good. He should be right in the apartment.

"Maybe he goes out?" 

I don't pay attention to Pond. As I'm about to go and turn the light on, I trip on something.

"!!!" 

When I find that there's something on the ground, I'm so scared that I jump up and retreat back to the wall. I turn the light on and I am shocked because of what I see in front of me. 

"Hey! What happened?!" 

Pond yells out loud after seeing the messy room... Everything is turned upside down, the tables and chairs fall to the ground, and there is only one thing in my mind.

"Pete!!!" 

I immediately rush towards the closed bedroom and find that the door has been locked from the inside.

<Thud>

"Damn it!" 

I hear a thud sound coming from inside, I can't help but blurt out a cuss. Pond runs to me and tells me that he is going to find a key or something that can be used to open the door. I step back three steps, and then...

Bang!

I slam the door with my shoulder. The first time the door is not burst open, so I step back further and then rush forward with all of my strength. I don't care if my shoulder maybe dislocated or broken, I only care about Pete's safety.
