Also yes the timeline is different, I'm trying to keep it close to the original timeline as possible but somethings will be switched around.

...

As soon as we landed, I sped away.

I needed to go to and find Klaus. He'd know what to do. I also needed to get away from Damon. I wasn't ready to deal with him.

As soon as I was far enough away, I phoned Klaus.

"Hello?"

"Oh thank god, Klaus you answered!"

"Sylvia? You're not dead?"
His voice sounded surprised and happy.

"No! Of course not, I've just been trapped in a prison world for god knows how long. But I need your help. Someone very close to me... is still trapped. I need a powerful witch to help me get back to him."

Klaus sighed on the other end of the phone.
"I wish I could help you love, but the family has some important issues to work through."

"I could come and help, while figuring out a way to get to Kai. He's got my phone number on paper in case he gets out."

Klaus seemed to be thinking for a moment.
"Alright. I can trust you. Make your way to New Orleans. We have much to discuss. Ask for me, they'll know."

He ended the call and that was that.

Well, I guess I'm off on a road trip!

...

"So you're telling me,"
I quietly said to Klaus.
"That you have a daughter? Because Hybrids are fertile?"

Klaus nodded.
"She's only small, but she's real."

"You finally got the child you always wanted."
I smiled.

Klaus half smiled at me.
"You will always be a daughter to me, Sylvia. But my top priority is keeping Hope safe. So I need your help with Freya and Dahlia, and keeping threats away from my daughter. In return, I'll see what I can do to help Kai."

I grinned like a happy child.
"Thank you so much Klaus."
I gave him a quick hug.

"He means something to you, doesn't he."

I nodded.
"It's... a weird feeling. All warm and fuzzy. And the thought of losing him scares me. I didn't think I was capable of caring for someone.

Klaus chuckled.
"That's called love, my dear hybrid."

My heart pounded in my chest and my jaw dropped.

"Shocked?"
Klaus smiled.
"Treasure it while you have it. And if he harms you,"
Klaus's face turned serious.
"I'll tear out his heart."

I nodded.
"He nurtures my best impulses, I promise."

Klaus raised an eyebrow, he knew exactly what I meant.

"Now come! Meet the family, they probably won't be how you remember them."
I smiled and followed Klaus to the dining room.

...

"Everyone, I'd like to welcome Sylvia back home."
Klaus smiled and introduced me back to the family.

"Sylvia?"
Elijah asked like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
