Chapter 6 - Her Habits

"Back for another dose of caffeine ?" As usual chaeyoung will get her boss his morning coffee which means she's meeting her friend again who's smile is more blinding than the sun
She loves being around him because he's fun and he sometimes remind her of her brother minus the cold expression of course

"Good morning oppa ! and yes , the usual please" she said smiling
"Why do you look so tired ? It's still morning chae" he said while making her coffees

"I'm having a bad morning today oppa , i was late and i had to run just to catch my bus" she talks with her hands explaining while he just smile seeing her talks so cutely and expressing it with her hands
He got used to her random rambling

Chaeyoung already feels comfortable enough with him to tell her day to him because she meets him everyday and he's a very funny person to talk with
One time she even ramble on and on and almost forgot her boss's coffee

"Why are you late anyway ?" He said
"I was working late last night and i have to walk home"

"Awww poor you , did you even have breakfast ?" He ask while bringing her order
"If you count a piece of bread as breakfast then yes" she said while paying for her drinks "anyway thank you oppa for listening and i'll see you at lunch" she wave towards him and walk out of the cafe
"Bye chaeng" he waves back happily

"Here you go boss , your morning coffee" she said nervously because of what happened this morning "and i'm sorry for being late this morning"

"It's fine , just don't be late again" he said while looking at his computer

"now i need you to go and check this files , separate and arrange it by months and years and make an appointment with the representative of the Parks Company and ask them for a meeting this friday" he hand her a bunch of files
"Okay boss" she said while smiling so wide and taking the files, balancing it in her hands

'Time to work' she said in her head while walking to her cubicle being so happy
Some might look at her crazy but she's used to it

Chaeyoung just realize something
'Parks company ?' That's her family's company which means she can meet her dad or brother on Friday and

she's excited

She get her phone and call the company's representative
"Hello , good morning ! this is from bighit company calling to arrange a meeting" she said with a professional tone or maybe a little bit stiff and kinda like a robot
Well, she is park chaeyoung. The girl who talks animatedly to her family so it's a little bit hard for her to sound serious
"Yes , thank you for the cooperation and i will be seeing you on Friday" and then she hung up
'One job done'

All morning she just sit on her desk and still arranging the files , and when it's time for lunch she just wanna dash and get a big lunch cuz she was hungry as hell and her stomach is making an animal growling noise

She happily hum as she's thinking what she was going to eat at the cafe
"Yesterday i had the aglio olio pasta , hmm... burger and fries sound good , or maybe some grilled cheese sandwiches" she talks to herself with a serious frown casted on her face like she was making the most difficult decision in her life

She walk toward the cafe and when she enter there is a familiar bell sound
"oppa !" She waves toward J-hope who's cleaning the tables and sit down at her usual table which us in the corner
"Hey chaeng! So , what do you want for lunch today?" He ask
"I'm still in dilemma oppa, i can't choose between burger and grilled cheese sandwich cuz they both sound so delicious" she pouted
"Let me make it easy , you can order the burger and the grilled cheese sandwich is on me since you're having a bad morning today , how's that sound ?" he said

"Oppa it's fine , i don't want to be in debt with you" she said while shaking her head "i can just order the burger"
"Chaeng ! How many times i told you that you are my friend so it's not a debt it's called an affection from a friend" he said while posing like he's scolding a 5-year old

"But opp-" she was cut off
"No no no , i don't wanna hear it ! You will eat the burger and the grilled cheese sandwich" he said and the go back to the kitchen to tell the chef which she know by the name of Kim Seokjin to make her food
'Stubborn oppa' she said in her head but her heart feels warm because her only friend is so caring towards her

She heard a ding from the door and when she looks up she see
'Why do i see him everywhere' she tried to look invincible by cowering in her seat

"Hobi hyung! Seokjin hyung!" Jungkook shout and then comes an upset looking seokjin
"Jungkook ? Where have you been ? Did you get bored of my cooking that i almost didn't see you for the whole week ?" He scold jungkook like a mom
"I'm sorry hyung , it's been a very busy week and i can't even have a proper lunch because i attend so many appointments and meetings" jungkook replied back while looking so tired
"You do look tired" seokjin said while shaking his head "sit down , i'll make your favorite in a minute" he told jungkook and go back to the kitchen

Jungkook actually already saw chaeyoung from the windows when he was parking his car
'She eats here too?' He wonder

And while he was talking with seokjin he saw how she was trying to be invincible and trying to cover her face which he found it kinda funny how much she didn't want him to see her

She is different from any other girls

'Just like highschool' he thought , he used to always see her stealing glances in classes at him from her seat and sometimes when he's trying to tease her by suddenly turning his head , he saw her hurriedly busying herself by pretending to look outside or read her books

But she didn't beg for his attention , not even once

Maybe that's why when in high school , his eyes always found her anywhere because she is too different and seem to be in her own world and he didn't even know why he observe her so much back then

Maybe because he's just confused on why she is different from others and act different
She wears a normal length skirt which considered too long by the other girls that's why they cut it short
She was always with her book even when it's lunch time but didn't seem bothered one bit by the fact that she was alone
She sometimes smile while reading or laugh while her eyes making a crescent moon shape
Her voice is soft and small but when she was nervous like when she did a presentation in front of the whole class and she will ramble about anything if she's in a nervous state

He didn't even know why he still remember all of that

'She's dangerous' he thought until he didn't realize his lingering gaze meet her nervous ones because their table is opposite to one another

'Why is he frowning while looking at me ? Did i do something wrong ?'
she thought and decide to say something
"Hey?" She said and make a small hesitant waves toward him while trying to smile

He's woken up from his thoughts and see her small waves with a weird smile

"Weird girl" he said it in his head but he see her breaking the eye contact and looking down with a sad smile in her laps and lowering down her hand

'That's what you get for being friendly Park Chaeyoung ! Why did you even say hi , he's jeon jungkook for god sake and don't forget he's also your boss's boss' she scold herself in her head , embarrassed for her stupidity

'Fuck ! did i say it out loud' jungkook thought and decide to just play with his phone to avoid more awkward moments
