When I had gotten invited to Los Angeles by an internet friend, I was thinking it wouldn't be that much of a big deal. Find out what kind of crazy shenanigans we all get up to.
That next morning, my cousins gave us the address of a really cute date place. This place is called Pfaueninsel. The translation is "lust castle." My cousins told us all about it. It's where Laura had gotten engaged to her husband Hans. It looks like this:

Louis told us that peacocks are known to roam around. It's a perfect opportunity for a cute Instagram picture. Anna is tagging along with us to be our professional photographer, that is her job after all. We hop into Anna's car and she drives us to the location. Upon arriving, I see two or three beautiful peacocks walking in a group, tails spread out. I snap pictures as soon as possible. Anna parks her car and we get out. "Come on, follow me. We're going to the roof." Anna said. "Okay." Woods said.
We follow Anna through the big wooden doors and up the spiral staircase. We reach the roof. I look out into the horizon and see the beauty that is west Berlin. I see the river Havel. Anna told us to kiss because the backdrop is absolute schön. Woods and I hold hands and kiss. Anna takes pictures. She then tells us to do a different pose. It's like we're at a professional photoshoot.
After the photoshoot is over, the sun is getting ready to set. The sky is a blend of pinks, purples, oranges, and reds. Woods taps me on the shoulder and winks at Anna. That's the que for her to start recording this. She's recorded little clips of cute moments, but this is even better. I turn around. My dream comes true. Woods is one knee, "When I first met you, I didn't know it'd become what it is now. Now I know that I've truly fallen in love with you. I want to live the rest of my days with you. So, will you marry me?" "Yes, yes, yes! Always yes!" I exclaim. "Yay! Sie sind verlobt!" Anna exclaims. Woods slides the ring on my finger. It's so pretty. It shines in what little light is left. Anna asked me to show off my ring. She took close up pictures of it and of me looking the happiest I've been in a while. All three of us walked back down to the field. Woods grabs a blanket and Jonas' guitar. We sit down on the blanket. Anna pans around us, making sure to film all the good stuff.
Woods tunes the guitar according to the song he's going to play. He's singing Fallin' All In You by Shawn Mendes. I didn't expect him to listen to him, but it's cool and cute. He begs playing and singing. I stare from his eyes to his fingers dancing across the fretboard. Anna also took some pictures along with filming. Woods finishes the song and I take the guitar from him. I play Naked by James Arthur. I finish the song. I place the guitar down gently. I scoot closer to Woods and kiss him. I push him down and we playfully wrestle on the blanket. "Woah, save it for the honeymoon." Anna joked. We both roll our eyes at her. After the moon began shining bright in the sky, Anna took our back to Jonas and Luca's house. She parks in the driveway and we walk in. Within moments of walking in, all my cousins are cheering. The twins are holding a sign reading: Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Engagement! Which is Congrats on the engagement! There's a cake prepared by Laura with Woods and I kissing made of fondant. "Time to party!" Luca screams. "Woohoo!" Jonas yells.
On the TV, karaoke is set up with a list of amazing songs. We sit at the table and have dinner also prepared by Laura. She's quite the cook, isn't she? We have plenty of schnitzel with potatoes. I stuff my face, as usual. After finishing dinner, we move to karaoke. The lights are turned off and the disco lights are turned on. Colorful lights fill the room. I go first, choosing Bad Liar by Imagine Dragons. That song gets me hype. It's a little sad, but that's okay. When I finished the song, the mic is swiped from my hand. Of course, the sassy of the two twins, Luca took it from me.
He chose to sing High Hopes by Panic! At The Disco. That song also gets me hype. It's such a great party song. My cousins have great music taste. I'm all about the pop punk, but this is a more pop than anything Panic! has released in the past, but it's alright. We watch as Luca dances around as if he were Brendon himself. He even did a daring backflip in the little space we have. His hair falls into his face. He's a character, that's for sure.
After Luca, follows Jonas. Oh, these boys always want to outdo each other. It's kinda cute. Jonas chooses to sing Without Me by Halsey. That song is cool. He made it work for his voice. Luca harmonizes with him, taking the second mic. That's better, working together instead of against. When they finish that, Anna and Laura do a duet singing like that by Bea Miller. They have beautiful voices. Anna being a soprano and Laura being an alto, their voices harmonize like any other. I've never heard anyone harmonize like they do. They do it in creative ways. I love it!
Our karoke session ends. Now it's movie time. Everyone decides on a German film called A Coffee In Berlin. They're going to turn on English subs so we can understand what they're saying. We begin the movie. It's interesting. I've always enjoyed indulging in other cultures, and watching a movie is a good way of doing such.
*Short smut warning* Later that night, Woods and I go to our room. I stop into the bathroom and put on my new lingerie that I had bought from the shop. Surprisingly, it was afforable, yet pretty. It's blue, my favorite color. It's lacey too, which is eye-catching. I saunter back into the room, revealing myself to Woods. "Let's celebrate our engagement, shall we?" I asked.
