You and Eddie snuck into the Life Foundation's and you saw a guard. "Stay here." You said, pushing Eddie down into a corner. He growled at you, but you walked over to the guard, smiling. "Oh, hey (Y/n)! You're back!" The guard smiled. "Yeah, sorry about this." You said, with your hands behind your back. "Huh?" You threw your phone at him and he caught it. You slammed your fist into the guys face and he fell over on the floor. "Holy shit!" Eddie whispered to himself, covering his mouth in shock. You grabbed your phone and looked over at Eddie. "Why didn't I think of that the first time?" You rubbed your neck and snickered. "Oh well, it worked out in the end." You looked over your shoulder and stared at Eddie. "You coming or not?" You asked, tapping your foot, impatiently waiting. "God help me." Eddie mumbled to himself. You put your phone away and blushed. "Sorry...I might have been training to kill guys like this." You said, a little embarrassed. "Kill!?" Eddie screamed. "Sh! Come on!" You grabbed his hand and ran off to the lab entrance. You came up to two steel doors, that had the word caution and danger on it. "This is the lab, where my dad is killing people." You ran your card through the scanner and opened the door. The place was full of dimmed lights and blue hued windows. Some experiments were still brewing inside the main room, which meant that your dad must have left now. "Come on, follow me! My dad was here earlier, but judging by this place, he left a while ago." You said. "How are you so sure?" Eddie challenged. "My father is obsessed with work, however, he always stops at this time of night. He is not a man to brake his habits...ever. Besides, he always leaves that beaker running at night, so it is ready in the morning." You said. "What is it?" Eddie asked, following close behind you. "Heck if I know, I haven't been close to my father in the past six months." "Why?" You turned to him with your eyes locked on his. "Because you told me the truth about my father, and how he is nothing but a killer. Don't feel bad, I thank you for that...but...I somehow knew he was doing this..." You trailed off and sighed, shaking your head. "Whatever...it doesn't matter now." You suddenly felt your heart skip a beat and you could hear your heart pounding inside your body. You gulped, hoping your father wasn't here anymore because you just said he wasn't. It was almost like an instinct feeling, where you knew someone or something was there, but you didn't know what. In the hallways, the lights were dim as well, the sides were glass covered experiment rooms. This place had death written all over it, but you were more worried about Eddie's life than yours. You brought him here and it would be your fault if something happened to him. "Eddie, hold my hand." You said, reaching behind you. This was not because you liked Eddie or anything, this was because you wanted to know where he was at all times. Eddie looked at you up and down and scoffed. "Yeah right." He finally said. "Eddie, take it or I'll do it by force." You warned, letting a hint of death slip off your tongue. Eddie grew wide eyed and seized your hand. "Ok, now what?" He asked, holding your hand tightly. "Now, we find the black symbiote, my friend." You looked inside the lab and saw one person on the ground, dead. The yellow and black symbiote swirled around in the room, and it paused when it saw you. "Here...this is the black and yellow symbiote. It wants to get over to the black one because they're friends." Eddie looked at it, and the yellow symbiote shot at you, sliding down the window. Eddie jumped back and held his breath, in utter shock. You gave him a nervous giggled and you blushed. "Oh...and they also do that." You said. Eddie gulped and nodded. He pulled out his phone and started to take pictures. "Yeah, I should be doing that to." You took out your phone and took a picture of it. (This is never going to work...this place is too big for us to cover in one night...) You glanced at Eddie and sighed. "Look, I hate to do this, but we need to split up in order to get a good picture of the area." You said. Eddie looked down at you and looked at the yellow and black symbiote. "You mean...alone?" You thought long and hard and nodded. "Yeah, but not too far." You said, still not wanting to lose sight of him. "You go down that hallway and I will meet you there, ok?" You pointed down and Eddie nodded with a pale face, licking his cold lips. "Ok, don't get killed." Eddie walked away, and you smiled. "You to!" You called back, causing him to smirk. "Heh!" You looked over at the yellow and black symbiote and saw it move towards you, like it wanted you. (This thing wants to kill me...) You wondered what it would be like exposing your dad, it would be all over the news. But then where would you end up? You couldn't continue the Life Foundation's, not without people looking down on you. You wouldn't have anywhere to live, it was going to be rough, but maybe Eddie could help you. That is, if his life wasn't already ruined enough from losing everything. Your thoughts were cut off by the sound of sirens blaring into your eardrums. You snapped your head over at Eddie, screwing around with the controls to a cell. "Eddie, what the hell!?" You screamed over the sirens. "She's crying for help! I need to help her!" Eddie grabbed a fire extinguisher he saw on the ground and broke the door open, smashing the heavy cylinder of metal against the glass. "Not that one! That woman is nuts!" You screamed as a warning. Before Eddie had time to retaliate, the woman pounced on him, tackling him clear down the hallway out of your sight. "Jesus!" You growled, suddenly hearing a door slide open. Chills ran up your spine, like it was designed to do that at this given time and moment. You gulped and slowly turned around, seeing the door to the yellow and black symbiote open. You saw the yellow and black symbiote slither around the dead body and you screamed out. "Shit!!!!" You ran with all your might and you heard Eddie scream. "I'm coming Eddie!" Then, you tripped over something and you fell on your face. "Gurgh!" You looked at your feet and saw the yellow and black symbiote eating your foot. "No, please don't!" You tried to kick it off your foot, but it jumped at your chest and stuck to you. "Ahhhh!!!!" You screamed in pain as a fiery pain spread across your body. You tried to rip the symbiote off you, but it sunk into your body, like water sinking into clothing. You yanked on your shirt, patting yourself down, panting in fear. "Crap! That's not good...what the hell was that!?" You whispered. "Ahhhh!!!!" You heard Eddie's voice boom over you and the siren, causing you to spin around. "Eddie!!!!" You pulled yourself up and ran over to him, seeing the woman choking him to death. "Get off of him!" You grabbed the fire extinguisher and you were about to swing but, you saw Eddie's veins go black. He gasped for air, as the pain infiltrated his body with a black poison. You unfroze and kicked the woman off him and into the wall. Eddie shot up, holding his throat and coughing. "Why the hell did you get the fire extinguisher if you didn't use it?" Eddie growled. "Less talking more running!" You growled, unamused. You threw the extinguisher into the floor with a clatter and bang. You both heard the security team pounding their boots down in rhythm and you cursed. "Fuck, come on (Y/n)!" Eddie grabbed your hand and ran. "Wahhh!" You were dragged along the hallway with Eddie and you growled. His grip seemed awfully tight and frim, like he could rip your whole hand off if he wanted to. "Loosen up!" You were able brake his hold and run alongside Eddie. You saw the two doors and, without thought, burst through them. You patted yourself down, thinking your mind was playing tricks on you. The shattered glass and steel doors were at your feet, you were of course shocked. This was not normal for any human to do, or anything for that matter. The doors weren't even rusty, meaning there is no way those doors could have just fallen without pure strength. "Holy shit." You mumbled. "Come on!" Eddie yelled, running past you. "Oh, right!" You ran after him Eddie suddenly stopped. "Why are you stopping!?" You yelled. "Because of them!" Eddie pointed in front of you. You were caught in a one-way hallway, with two men on each side. "Looks like we have no way out." Eddie grumbled. "Yeah..." Before you could even try to come up with a plan, your body suddenly pulled you forward, and your arm drove your fist into one of the guys faces. "Oh crap!" Your leg suddenly pulled up and you high kicked the other one in the face and you looked over to Eddie. "How the hell did you do that!?" He exclaimed. "I-I..." You looked at your hands and shivered. "I didn't!" You screamed. "Shoot him!" The guard yelled. Eddie suddenly was pulled forward and ran along the wall and crashed into the two men, blasting them through the wall. You walked up to Eddie and looked at the wall. The wall was cracked open with the two men inside of it. The wall Eddie ran along had his foot prints imbedded in it, meaning not only was he fast but strong as well. "Not bad...we should spare some time." Eddie looked behind you and heard more men coming. "If we ever get to see the light of day again! Come on!" Eddie yanked you forward, and you ran with him. "A door!" You warned Eddie. "You got this!" You smirked and nodded. "Heh!" You jumped into the door and slammed it down. "Come on Eddie!" You yelled. Eddie ran past you, not even trying to stay with you anymore. "Really!?" You called after him, growling before running with him. Eddie tried to jump on the barbed wire fence, but ended up crashing through it, causing him to tumble down the hill. (What is going on with us?) The forest was where the both of you would have to run, this was a good chance to lose them, or lose each other. "Holy crap! How are we so strong all of a sudden!?" You leaped down to Eddie, landing on all fours and growled. "Come on, no time to rest!" You said, running past him. "Damn you!" Eddie growled, staggering up and running. Gun shots flew past you and Eddie's ears, which told you that they were still hot on your tail. You and Eddie ran faster, using the trees as a shield and obstacle to doge the bullets. You looked over your shoulder and saw Eddie, slowing down. "Come on Eddie! You're going got get us kil-" You were cut off by tripping over a branch and Eddie, not seeing it either, also tripped over the branch. Eddie smacked his head down in the dirt, next to you, and moaned. "Ouch!" Then, a forced pulled you by your back and lifted you straight up. Eddie was then lifted up the same way and you were mesmerized. "What was that?" You asked. "Not now! They're on our asses!" You heard gun shots shoot past your ear and you ran. "God damn! These guys don't know when to let up!" Eddie yelled. "We just broke into the Life Foundation's, Eddie! What did you think was going to happen!?" You yelled, running faster. You looked up ahead and gasped. "Eddie!" You screamed, stopping in the center of a whole bunch of guards surrounding you, like loins cornering their prey. "Fuck!" Eddie growled, putting his back against yours, looking at all the men. "I have this side." You said. "I'll hold you to that." Eddie said. Realistically, you wouldn't last a minute with these guys. Not only did they have guns and heavy artillery, they had an army up against two amateurs. They were closing in on you at a frightening pace and you gulped. Then, both off you felt like you had springs in your feet, and you jumped all the way up a tree. Eddie was smart enough to snatch a branch, however, you couldn't reach one. "Eddie!" You screamed to him. Eddie thrashed his head around to you and grabbed your arm, pulling you into him. You grabbed onto him for dear life and buried your head into his chest, scared. "Holy crap! Hold onto me!" You screamed. "What do you think I'm doing?" Eddie growled, holding you close. Both of you were panting, both from fear and being tried. You set your head up against Eddie's chest hearing his heart pulse throughout his whole body. You felt Eddie get warm and you felt butterflies swarm in your stomach. You and Eddie were breathing heavily, and you looked down, seeing the men looking confused. "That was one hell of a ride." Eddie mumbled. "Tell me about it." Once it was ok to go down, you wondered how you would get down in one piece. You didn't even know how you got up here, how were you supposed to get down? "Well...this is going to be harder than I thought..." Then, something pulled your foot down and you fell to the ground, flat on your face. "(Y/n)!" Eddie fell right next to you, but on his two feet. "You ok?" You pulled your head out of the dirt and spit the dirt out of your mouth. "If you mean I feel like I just broke every bone in my body, then yes Eddie, I am fine." You sarcastically said. "Good...what the hell was all that crazy strength?" Eddie looked at himself and then you. "To hell if I know..." You tried to come up with an answer and Eddie narrowed his eyes. "You know something I don't, and you better tell me what it is." Eddie said, grabbing your shirt. "Hey! I-I don't know anything!" You said, putting your hands up. "Bull shit, you know damn well what is going on with us!" Eddie growled. "No! I don't! My only theory would be that we both fused with a symbiote! That would explain the incredible and inhuman powers." You blurted. "What do you mean fused?" Eddie grinded through his teeth, raising his fist. "I mean symbiosis, we are now their hosts! That's what I mean!" You growled. Eddie pointed his finger at you, like your father would do when he was scolding you, and growled. "No, a host is when a-" The low hum of a jeep suddenly slid into your ears and you grabbed Eddie's hand. "Run!" You both ran to the city in hopes that you could both find salvation.
