The city never sleeps, always dreaded with insomnia and its endless torment of shadows on walls. The shuffle of feet was a second language to humans, always spoken with the quick exchanges of eyes and smiles that fade immediately if they've been scaring the world for longer than a minute. Always.

And so she wanted to teach the world a lesson; well the city, at first. She climbed up to the hills of bumpy roads and ran inside skyscrapers, throwing papers of typed-up emotions behind her as her legs ran faster.

"Let's stop for a second and just realize that what we say through our second language leaves us wondering how to come up with answers to questions that ask, 'why?'"
