"Oh good she didn't kill you" my Bestfriend Megan said laughing
"Haha, very funny" I said dryly
"So how's its been going at home, you know with Jordan and all" she said while we started folding shirts
"Um better" I answered honestly
"How much better? Cause he obviously still hitting you" she said pointing to the bruise on my arm
"It's getting better" I said pulling my jacket up
"Well me and jasmine going out tonight, wanna come I know you can use a break"
"Can't, Jordan and the guys are going out tonight and he wants me home" I said
"So you drop them off and come with us simple" she said cheerfully
"He has the car so I cant" I say again
"How you get here, you walked" she asked looking upset

"So you let this man take YOUR car and make you walk !?" She yelled whispered "how are you getting home if the trains strop running at 10:30, do you wanna stay at my place tonight"

"You know I cant even if I wanted to, I'll be fine. I'll call you if I need you" I said

It's only 7 o'clock and I'm tired as hell. I've been on my feet for the past hour and a half working the cash register. Megan gets off now so it's only me and two other employees.

"Alright I'm out girl, call me if you need me love you" She said on her way out

Okay another 3 hours to go. I should be fine
It's almost time for closing when I seen Jordan friend Josh come into the store with whatever bitch he fucking at the moment. Oh lord I thought to myself. Ever since Jordan introduced me to Josh he's been trying to get with me, I feel like it's Jordan trying to test and see if I'm really loyal
"Hey cutie" he said tapping on the counter where I was at counting money from the cash register
"Hey Josh" I said dryly
"Like that ? I thought we was better than that" he said winking his eye at me.
"Well we not, plus Jordan said I can't talk to you anymore. He think I like you" I said putting money back

"Oh trust me I don't" I said walking away
"Baby do you think this is cute" the girl he was with said
"Yea I guess, you see me talking go do something" he said staring at her
She walked away and mumbled something under her breath
"What you say bitch cause we can leave out this mf and you won't you have shit to wear tonight" he yelled causing me to jump
"Chill" he said laughing
"Mhm..so anyway she going out with y'all tonight" I asked
"Yea aren't you, Jordy said he was bring his girl"
"Oh yeah, I wanted to know who all was coming" I said walking back to where I was at first

After I rung them up and he payed i went to take my last 10 min break and called Megan

"So you think he's cheating, what happened" She asked doing her makeup
"You remember Josh right"
"Yeah the one who's always trying to talk to you"
"Yes him. So he came to the shop with some chick and I guess she was shopping to go out with them tonight so I asked him is she going and he said yea ain't you, Jordy said he's bring his girl with them tonight" I explained to her "And he haven't said anything to me about going out with them so"
"Maybe he's waiting for you to get off work that's all, don't get to ahead of yourself. He's not cheating" she said reassuring me
"Ugh okay, I hope not. I have to go close up the shop. Goodnight love you babe"

I closed up the shop and hurried to the train so I wouldn't miss it. Luckily I made it to the train station. After my ride I was tired and ready to go home. It's now 10:55 and I'm still walking home. My phones about to die so can't listen to music or act like I'm on it when I walk pass a group of people. I stopped at the store again just to get something to drink. When I came out I seen the same boy from earlier

"I see you came back for me" he said smirking
"Uh no I didn't" I said laughing "I needed something to drink"
"Yea okay. Where you headed lil mama" he said walking with me
"Um home" I said "where you going" I asked
"With you" he said confidently
"No your not, I told you I got a nigga"
"I aint trynna be yo nigga we could be friends" he said putting his arm around me
"Nigga move, I live a few blocks from here and if my boyfriend sees us it's gonna be a problem" I said

"Okay well Markell, I have to get going it's already 11 o'clock" I said trying to walk off

I finally got home and to my luck Jordan wasn't home. I took me a nice long bath to soak my body cause of the bruises. I got out and put on my white tee and some booty shorts. I watched Love and Hip Hop until I fell asleep.

I get woken up to the sound of people laughing and joking. It sound like a part down there and of course Jordan had to be doing something.

"Hey baby, do you mind keeping it down a little bit I have to be at work at 9 tomorrow morning" I said
"What you just say to me" he said getting in my face. I smelt the alcohol on his breath
"All I'm saying is y'all are kinda loud and it woke me up" I said backing up
I guess his friends could sense I was scared cause Josh had jumped in to save me
"We'll chill out a lil bit, you can go back to sleep" he said smoking
"Thank you" I said walking upstairs
"Get back down here" he said to me "Why you always defending this bitch, y'all fucking on the low or sum" he said to Josh
"What no I'm just trying to get some sleep for work in the morning and he said he'll keep it down that's all"

I was scared, I didn't know how he was going to react. I tried to go hide in the bathroom before he could realize I was gone.
