Your point of view:
Nothing. We can't get back. We can't warn people of this day so what now? Sit around and wait for some miracle or give up? There is no definite for our future. Going further forward is pointless. So what do we do? We have to stay positive but that's difficult when the world is in ruins.
"Five, we have to move."
"What? Why? There's no point. There's nothing left and we're just kids."
"Yeah, kids that just time traveled to the end of the world. We aren't normal."
Once again, we venture out into the ruins and come across an old department store. I see a mannequin lying amounts the chunks of concrete and point at it. Five moves over and lifts it up to find it's legs are missing.
"We're gonna need a friend.." He laughs as he says this and carries it over to me.
"What're we going to call her?" I ask.
"Ummmm Dorothy..No Diana no..."
"Dolores?"
"Perfect." He says while smiling.
"Are we actually insane?"
"Clearly a little. But who wouldn't lose their mind a little in a situation like ours?"
We move forward, Five carrying Dolores protectively as we go along.
"I swear you love that mannequin more than me." I say jokingly, thinking nothing of it.
"I could never love anything as much as you." He says.
Five's point of view:
I just said that. I just said that out loud. I didn't mean to say that out loud but I did. Shit, what do I do? How do I fix this? This could make everything awkward. What if-
"I love you too.." She says so it's almost inaudible. My face turns bright red again but I stay silent. We continue on in a comfortable silence, searching for any sign of life. Not just human. We just need to know if something, anything that is visible to the human eye survived this. Or is this truly the apocalypse?

I'M SORRY. Yes it's really short. Please forgive me but I'm giving you options here:
a) I continue doing this repetitive stuff
b) I do a time skip to when they're trying to stop the end of the world (Following the actual story)
c) I completely change the story and they figure out a way to get back now
d) I do a mini time skip and bring the murdering part so it happens sooner
