Your point of view:

I walk back into the bedroom.
"You close?"  I ask him as he continues to scribble down calculations anywhere he can.
"No where near." He says, stopping what he's doing and sitting on the bed, looking at the tattoo on his arm.
"Remember the day we got those?"

**Flashback**

We all sit on wooden chairs in a line, waiting to get a tattoo. We are thirteen and have no choice on these matters. We will all forever be branded as a part of The Umbrella Academy. Allison stands next to Klaus, Klaus holding his arm in pain and Alison crying silently. Ben sits in the main chair, a black umbrella with a crimson handle inside of a circle being permanently inked onto his arm. We all watch, growing more and more nervous by the second. I turn to see Vanya standing on the stairs, drawing on her arm with a black marker. All she wants is to fit in and I want that for her. If she wants the tattoo then she should be able to have it and we shouldn't have to have it if we don't want to but sometimes we don't get our own ways. The line moves forwards. My turn. I stand up slowly and walk over to the chair, sitting myself down and getting into a comfortable ish position. I take off my blazer and roll up the sleeve of my white button up shirt. The tattoo artist then puts the stencil on my arm and begins it trace it with the tattoo gun. A constant scratching is felt on my arm that at first isn't so bad but the pain builds as my skin becomes irritated. A few tears fall due to the pain but I remain still, knowing that if I move the permanent tattoo could be ruined..or that I'd be punished again. The artist finishes and I stand up and move over to the others. Five's turn. The others smoke away slowly, leaving Klaus, Five and me behind.
"What drugs should I take for the pain...?" He asks in a serious tone.
"How about regular, legal painkillers rather than something that will kill the pain standing next to me." I say, laughing slightly before focusing back on Five.
"Oh ha ha very funny." He nudges me in the side and I nudge him back, he then walks off to do whatever he does in his spare time...I don't want to know.
Five shows clear signs of pain in his face as the tattoo is being done. Right after we walk slowly upstairs. Five face plants on his bed and screams.
"You okay there?"
"Oh yeah, absolutely fine. I only have something permanent on my arm that caused me a lot of pain to have put there. I don't even see the point in this. Why are we being branded?"
"You do know who did this to us right? He wants the world to know that we are his product."

**End of flashback**

**Later that day:**

"That's unfortunate. An entire square block. Forty two bedrooms, nineteen bathrooms, but no, not a single drop of coffee."
Five says as I sit at the table and laugh.
"Dad hated caffeine." Allison says while looking over at Five.
"Well, he hated children too and he had plenty of us." Klaus laughs and I laugh with him. I don't look at him though because he's wearing a skirt and has hhis feet on the table. Normal Klaus behaviour. Possibly his best quality is hhis lack of care for what other people think of him, he is just himself and he likes it that way so that's how it will remain.
We quickly stop laughing as the atmosphere returns to a serious one.
"I'm taking the car." Says Five, while walking slowly.
"Where are you going?" Klaus asks.
"To get a decent cup of coffee." He responds quite simply.
"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison asks. Not the most intelligent question.
"I know how to do everything." HE says and spatial jumps away.
"No comment." I say. Knowing I can't let him go out alone due to..certain risks, I follow after him using my spatial jump to get to the car.
